Chapter 84 by Vain Vain

Back to the cabin again?

A chance encounter in the kitchen

Feeling refreshed after a few minutes outside in the cold wind, Heather returned back through the double doors leading directly into the kitchen. On the way inside she had a quick look at her phone though, and didn't even notice the girl who'd been pouring herself a glass of water, until they both looked up and jumped in surprise upon finding the other one standing there.

"Oh, it's just you...?" Victoria sighed in relief as she looked up into Heather's face again, and they both laughed a little at being scared by each other. The sweet blonde was definitively the most jittery of the two, but even she looked more embarrassed than actually shaken by the incident. "I thought you'd already gone to bed..."

"And left the door open?" Heather queried with a smile, but could tell that the girl had been busy thinking about something else to even notice the open doors, and she couldn't keep from asking some leading questions. "I thought you were asleep already...?"

"Well, I've always had trouble sleeping when it's raining outside..." The blonde replied with a glance towards the hallway - while the blush kept rising on her cheeks again -, and it was fairly obvious that the sound of rain wasn't quite the only thing to keep her awake. Even now they could hear Ashley's voice from inside the room she was sharing with her boyfriend, and they found themselves sharing a quick smile as Heather nodded in understanding.

"It can't go on forever." The brunette reassured her good friend, while making it unclear on purpose whether she was talking about the lustful squealing or the bad weather. She knew by now that Vicky was a bit too easy to embarrass, and she didn't quite feel like teasing the poor girl right now, but choose instead to have another look at her phone again.

Gavin seemed to have been really busy this evening, and she was a little surprised to see him having already finished yet another thread on that intriguing site. While this one was on the same theme as the last, it was added in a completely different part of his sprawling story line, and thus giving a very different angle on the same relationship. What was a bit scary however, was the fact it so very close to her own reality...

"I... guess I should try and go back to bed then..." Vicky said after a moment - while Heather found herself reading quickly through the start of that thread -, but hesitated a little and blushed even deeper as if she came to think about something. "Is it... really as good as it sounds...?"

"Hmm...?" Heather glanced up at her from her phone - and studied her face for a moment -, before carefully weighting her reply. "It really depends a lot on your partner, I'd say. But I guess Brandon must be pretty good at what he's doing right now."

"Yeah, I'd guess..." The sweet blonde even looked a bit jealous as she glanced back out to the hallway again, and there was definitively something curious in her eyes as she turned back to Heather. "Have you actually... kinda, tried everything...?"

"Everything would be quite a lot!" The cheerleader captain couldn't keep from laughing, and found it hard not to wink and smile mischievously at her much too innocent young friend. "But yeah, I guess I've tried to be fairly versatile..."

"I wish I could say the same..." Vicky confessed, with a slight stutter to her voice, but managed a weak smile as her friend laughed at her again. It wasn't the mean kind of laughter at least - like she may have expected from someone with so much more experience -, but instead it was soft and just slightly regretful.

"No, you shouldn't be saying that!" Heather told her - and even stepped up to give her a hug -, before continuing in the same gentle tone. "You do what you want when you're ready for it..."

"But, I've barely been doing anything at all!" The blonde blurted out, and she looked like she'd almost start crying any moment now while her friend just smiled and let her explain herself. "I mean, seriously Heather! I've barely even kissed someone yet...! Well, sure, I've kissed a couple of guys... but just like a peck on the mouth, or something like that!"

Meanwhile, Heather just kept looking at her while she continued ranting, and then glanced back down to her phone again, before finally coming to a decision.

Damn that Gavin! Was he trying to be some kind of oracle now...?

What's Gavin writing about? What's Heather's response to it...?
