A celebration!

"I shouldn't have worn my armor for the battle," Darkness sighed as the town celebrated successfully stopping the Destroyer. "I couldn't do anything since I couldn't join you aboard the Destroyer..."

"Don't beat yourself up about it Darkness," Kazuma shrugged. "At least you didn't actively make the situation worse by taunting Murphy..."

"Mmmph! Mmmph!" Aqua growled from the corner, hogtied and gagged.

"Oh hush, you," Kazuma said carelessly as he took a drink from his mug. "You've lost your speaking privileges for being stupid."

Ria of course was in the guild hall too, pointing and laughing at Aqua. She had obviously enjoyed the show Kazuma and everyone else had given her. Kazuma had little doubt she had laughed herself sick when he had hurt himself with Steal twice.

"So, when are we getting our reward for the Destroyer?" Fio asked.

"Well, Luna said the bounty was going to be divided up based on contributions," Kazuma replied. "So it will take them a day or two to determine who gets what, given how many people participated in the battle... Kyouya's definitely getting a large cut of it, and I sure hope I do too, considering I mostly just told others what to do..."

"All I did was help take out a golem," Cremea pouted. "I'm definitely getting a smaller cut..."

"Aqua might get the largest cut, given that she made the whole plan possible to begin with, plus the healing..." Xylixia noted. "Darkness and I will probably get nothing, seeing as my abilities don't work on machines, so I stayed back with Darkness... Wiz or Kyouya will get the second largest probably... Megumin will get a decent amount of it, and maybe a large chunk for you Kazuma... Then they'll probably just divide up the remainder evenly among everyone else..."

"...that's a fair enough assessment," Kazuma mused. "I wonder if we can get anything from the metals in the Destroyer... That's pretty rare stuff that made it up..."

"Maybe you can get yourself a sword that doesn't break on you," Cremea teased, getting a flat look from Kazuma. "Just take some of the metal to the smith, and maybe you can even get a magic sword made for yourself... Though that promises to be as expensive as hell, even if you provide the raw material..."

"No kidding, and I still wanna buy the mansion," Kazuma grunted. "So I'm holding off on that for now."

"Cheapskate," Fio giggled.

"Oh shut it," Kazuma huffed.

Aqua just kept pouting in the corner, though also squirming a lot as Ria took advantage of her tied up state to poke her for the shits and giggles.
