Chapter 13 by Molotov989

And that is...

A business dispute between two merchants

"The first item on today's agenda, a trade dispute between two merchants, the honorable gentleman Louis Vertung, and the lady Priscilla of the Southern Provinces." Called the announcer, as the two stepped forward.

At a glance your eyes were immediately drawn to the lady, her dark skin and comely appearance only lessened by the formal attire she wore. A leopard skin dress, that hung rather loosely to her frame was covered by a heavy woolen cloak, and where it not for tantasising glimpses through the breaks in her dress you would not have noticed her large and well formed breasts. As a southerner, her people are not accustomed to the cold if the middle lands, as was apparent from the mink lined gloves she wore on her dainty hands. Her face however was in full view, and ou could see the beauty even in the scowl she wore in distaste of the other merchant. Hair worn in a low bun, it's dark color only seemed to accentuate her already pretty nature, and you found yourself drifting in her dazzlingly blue eyes. Mixed race she may be, but a ebony skinned temptress never the less.

Lifting your gaze to the cause of her worries, you see the merchant Louis Verbant standing in a rather aggressive pose. His clothes, although stylish, looked worn and perhaps even tattered, but never the less rich in texture and material. Whatever dispute they have seems to have left him out if pocket you consider, as you watch him clench his fists as he speaks first.

"My lord if I may, this 'lady' from the south, has done nothing but carouse and steal from my person. Why I had hoped to negotiate in fair trade on the eve of yesterday, only to find myself beset by three dark men of southern heritage, and they proceeded to rob me in the very inn room we had agreed to meet! I demand that she pay me a recompense and agree to the honorable trade we had decided upon when we first met!"

A tang of arrogance and venom clearly on his tongue, Louis spat his words as he pointed and poked at the lady in question. Even though his tone was indignant, it was the custom of your kingdom to hear all sides of a case before coming to a decision. And as he finished, you motioned for the lady to tell her side to the case.

Stepping forward, she let her cloak slip open more to reveal more of her curvaceous frame. The leopard skin did wonders to enhance her body, and soon found yourself entranced by her legs which seemed to run endlessly down to her ankles, the dress it seems more of a leotard than clothes of your kingdoms design. Noticing your gaze, she widened her stance a little, letting you gaze at those long lustful thighs and hips, before speaking.

"My lord, it is true, I did plan to meet with the gentleman in question on that eve, but it was of misfortune that I was struck ill that night in question, and not finding myself able to attend sent my sister in my place. She told me this morning that sit Verbant did not arrive, much to her disappointment, and it was only just now that we had heard of his tireless night it seems at the hands of the other ruffians." Every word pronounced with care and grace, she seemed to bob her ever so as she spoke, never breaking eye contact with you, and at times gesture to the merchant in question.

Her last comment caused an outburst from the other, only o be quickly silenced by your gesture.

How will my lord decide?
