Anything else before the battles?
A brief chat, then Daniel vs Brooke!
Once the humorous tirade ends, you and Daniel climb back up onto the couch with Kayla, who once again sits in her master’s lap. The brunette is still giggling slightly as she curls up against his broad chest, her face still split by a large grin. You know that the two of them aren’t ‘officially’ a couple, but they are so cute together.
“Oh, and I do know Leah, to answer your question.” The blonde boy says once he’s caught his breath. “We’ve met a few times at big events, like the PLT or any gym leader tourneys. I’m… definitely looking forward to battling her, at some point.” He smirks, clearly imagining what he would do if he beat the tanned, lithe beauty.
Before you can respond, a voice cuts through, emitting from an intercom somewhere in the room. “We’re about ready to start, so be prepared to walk out once I call your name, Mr. Surge.” You recognize the voice as that of the in-gym announcer, who you had heard during Blue’s match yesterday.
“Okay! Got it!” Daniel calls out into the room. He stands, scooping Kayla up with him as he rises. “Here, hold this.” The muscular blonde places his **** onto your lap, which she nestles into just as happily as she had his. You’ve really grown close with these two, and in just a couple days. Seeing the probably very goofy smile on your face, the green-eyed girl smiles back gently, then catches you by surprise by leaning up and pressing her lips against yours.
Her master chuckles, looking at her fondly. “You two have fun. Just try and remember to root for me, okay?” Kayla pulls off of your lips, looking up at you mischievously, and you realize you’ve both just had the same idea.
“Good luck, Little Surge!” The two of you say in unison as Daniel begins walking away.
He stiffens, standing next to the door that will lead into the arena. “…There will be blood.” He says in a menacing tone, not turning around.
You and the cute girl in your lap both giggle, when suddenly the screens on the walls all flick on. The stands are now filled with people, maybe even more than had been watching Blue, excited at the prospect of three gym battles in a row. You’re very quickly reminded that you’re going to need to deal with that crowd yourself, and you’re now quite glad that Daniel is going first.
“Ladies and gentleman, we are just about ready to get this show underway! I will introduce our contestants shortly, so get ready to make some noise!” The disembodied announcer calls out, and Daniel takes a deep breath, waiting for his cue.
“First up, our hometown hero and leader of the Pewter City Gym; The Rock-Solid Pokémon Trainer, Brooke!” The crowd howls loudly for their local superstar, and the tall tanned woman takes the stage. She smiles, waving at the crowd, then crosses her muscular arms over her bare bust, awaiting her opponent.
“As for our challenger, he’s a buff, bodacious blonde from Vermillion City; Daniel Surge!” The cheers are quieter for your friend, though you hear a large number of female voices calling out to the handsome blonde. “If that last name wasn’t enough to clue you in, then let me spell it out for you! Daniel here is the younger brother of Vermillion City’s own Gym Leader, Lieutenant Surge! She and Brooke have had many battles in the past, and it seems that the family feud continues down the bloodline!”
Is there actually bad blood, or is the announcer playing things up? Probably the latter, if that friendly conversation earlier is anything to go by. As you settle in to watch, you almost reflexively begin casually touching Kayla. One of your hands massages a breast, the other rubs up and down a thigh, slowly pushing up the hem of her pink sundress and revealing more of her creamy skin. She sighs, relaxing back into you and smiling as you two watch the screens.
The formless announcer continues. “This battle will be 2 on 2. Should the challenger win, he will receive the Boulder Badge, a Technical Machine, a cash prize, and of course; a sexual forfeit from Brooke!” The crowd hoots and hollers, almost rooting against their ‘hometown hero’. “Should he lose, he will be **** to pay a loss penalty, and no forfeit shall occur. Now, are our contestants ready?” Both buff trainers nod, squaring off against one another on opposite sides of the rocky battlefield. “Then let’s begin!”
“Rhyhorn, I choose you!” Brooke releases her Pokémon, a massive stone rhinoceros with layered rocks for skin.
“Drowzee, come on out!” Daniel’s yellow and brown psychic type takes to the field, swaying slightly in place.
“Use Rock Tomb, then charge!” The gym leader commands. Her ground and rock type (instead of a rock and ground type, big difference) rams its head into a nearby boulder, sending it careening toward the psychic type.
“Use Confusion to stop it!” The Drowzee points its hands toward the flying boulder, using minor telekinesis to halt the stone’s momentum midair.
But the second half of Brooke’s command is still playing out, and her Rhyhorn rushes the opposing Pokémon. She must have predicted this reaction from Daniel. “Horn Attack!”
The rhino picks up speed, preparing to gore Daniel’s Pokémon… but the golden-haired trainer has outsmarted Brooke’s outsmarting. “Drop it Drowzee!” The psychic type obeys, breaking its concentration and letting the boulder it’s holding fall with perfect timing. The rock crashes down onto the charging ground type, not doing much damage but stopping it in its tracks.
“What a play from our challenger! Seems like he came prepared!” The announcer cries, and the audience cheers wildly at the tactical display. You and Kayla cheer as well, and you’re already very impressed with Daniel so far.
It’s far from over though, as Brooke’s Pokémon stands up, shaking itself off. In that moment however, your friend issues a command. “Hypnosis!”
Swirling waves of psychic energy play off of the Drowzee’s waving hands, and the stone-skinned Pokémon begins to wobble on its feet, before falling back to the ground again. “Now, Confusion!” The psychic type begins a mental **** on its opponent, causing the sleeping rhino to thrash about in pain.
“Wake up! You’ve gotta wake up, Rhyhorn!” Brooke calls out desperately. After nearly fifteen seconds of mental anguish, the rhinoceros does indeed awaken, staggering to its feet. “Yes! Now, Horn Attack!” The black-haired woman commands. Her Pokémon is wobbly, but it charges forward… straight into a nearby rock, hurting itself in confusion. This is the last straw, and the rock Pokémon crumbles to the ground, falling **** without having landed a single hit.
“Brooke’s Rhyhorn is unable to battle! What an amazing display from this young Surge!” The announcer shouts, sounding genuinely amazed.
The crowd howls loudly, and you can’t help but be amazed. “Daniel is incredible!”
The brunette in your lap, still being groped, smiles smugly. “He sure is!” She’s clearly quite proud of her master/lover/friend/probably-should-just-be-boyfriend.
“Well done, Little Surge. I’m impressed.” Brooke recalls her Rhyhorn, and the cameras do pick up Daniel rolling his eyes at the ‘Little Surge’ comment. “But don’t get cocky. It isn’t over yet! Onix, let’s go!” The gym leader’s signature Pokémon takes to the field, though it’s most assuredly a higher level one than the one she used against Blue. The massive rock snake roars down at the yellow and brown psychic type, who does not flinch.
“Let’s try this again; Rock Tomb!” Brooke’s giant Pokémon slams its stony tail into the ground, sending several boulders flying into the air.
“Let’s try this again; Confusion!” The same exact thing happens, except with multiple stones hovering in the air rather than just one. Drowzee is clearly struggling to hold up all the rocks, shaking and sweating in concentration.
“Tackle it Onix! Watch out above you!” The stony snake slithers upon the ground, rushing forward. Sure enough, Daniel commands his partner to drop the stones, but the more agile rock type easily dodges the falling rocks. Confusion is a weak move, so its telekinetic **** must not be enough to direct the stones; they just fall from where they float.
Brooke’s Onix is bearing down on Drowzee rapidly, about to slam into the psychic type. “Poison Gas!” Your blonde friend shouts. His Pokémon obeys, spewing out a purple cloud of noxious fumes right into the snake’s face. This doesn’t stop the Tackle though, and the rock type slams straight into Daniel’s Pokémon, inhaling toxic fumes as it goes. The yellow and brown Pokémon flys back, nearly tumbling out of the battlefield.
The huge stone serpent begins to couch loudly, poison wracking its body with pain. “No time to breathe, partner; Use Bind!” Brooke commands, and her Pokémon obeys by wrapping the psychic type up in a **** grip in its tail, crushing it.
“Use Confusion Drowzee!” Comes the blonde’s next command. The psychic type once again focuses its power, assaulting the mind of the large rock type.
“Oh no, none of that! Rock Tomb!” Wait how is it going to-
Your cut off question is answered when Brooke’s Onix hurls the Drowzee with its tail into a pile of stones, shoving its face in rubble. “Don’t let up, Rock Tomb again!” Still coughing in pain, the serpent slams its tail into the ground, sending stones to collapse upon the psychic type, effectively burying it in an actual tomb of rock.
“Daniel’s Drowzee is unable to battle. Oh, but things are looking rough for Brooke’s Onix!” The announcer is right, the massive stone snake is wobbling back and forth, the poison taking a heavy toll.
Daniel recalls his Pokémon, smirking with confidence. “Let’s wrap things up, Electabuzz!” The black and yellow striped electric type appears, ready to finish the battle.
“Onix, Rock Tomb!” The gym leader says quickly, knowing her partner is on a clock.
“Use Quick Attack to dodge.” The Vermillion trainer says casually. His Electabuzz does so, flashing in and out of sight between the boulders.
Brooke’s eyes widen as she realizes her predicament, but it’s too late. This is how the battle ends; her Onix never manages to land a hit and, after only a minute more of battle, succumbs to the poison.
“Brooke’s Onix is unable to battle! Brooke is out of usable Pokémon, so Daniel is the winner!” The disembodied voice announces to raucous applause. It may not have been the most ‘noble’ finish, but no one could deny Daniel’s obvious skill as a trainer. You and Kayla cheer loudly in the waiting room, while the gym leader recalls her fainted Pokémon and approaches the victor.
What forfeit does Daniel claim?
