A black cat named Ink

You open your door and are met with the loud meows of Ink, your cat, and also a sweetheart that loves chicken.

You smile and step around Ink, who had been waiting at your door for you.

You walk through your house, doing your usual post-work household chores, such as filling Ink's food and water bowls, putting your dirty clothes in the wash, and making yourself dinner.

Once you finish all those chores, you walk over to your couch and sit down, turning on the TV.

"...In other news, a mysterious meteor has been sighted in near Earth. NASA does not believe that the meteor will hit the planet, so do not be alarmed- However, there is a good chance of-"

You switch the channel to a comedy show.

It's surprisingly not funny. You find yourself beginning to drift off.

And that's when it happens. A bright flash fills the room, originating from the cat laying on the ground in the middle of the room.
