A Waitress

Thankfully Eliza made it to the city bus just before it pulled away. Huffing and puffing, she slides her bus pass and sits down in the empty bus. Eliza wonders how long she was out after their...experience. She figured it had to be over 18 hours, as she had ate dinner before releasing Kat, and now she’s going in to work at 2. Was she really out for that long though? Eliza shook her head, getting her head ready for the shift at Applebees.

Eliza’s work day was uneventful compared to most, especially to the day prior. Though, she did notice that a lot of the guys were ogling her more then usual today. Eliza has always known that she was an attractive teen, so she is used to getting stared at by people from time to time. Today was different, it seemed like every guy stared at her, even if they were with a significant other. Eliza saw 3 couples fighting in her shift alone. It was definitely a weird night for her.

Groaning, Eliza punched out, thankful for the shift to be over. She had to stay late a couple of hours, but she didn’t care too much. Staying late helped get her more tips, as it was almost double her usual gains. During her whole shift though, she was thinking about nothing but Kat back at her apartment. Things like how long was she going to squat in her home? How will she pay for the two of them? Will Kat do anything else to her? Who is she hiding from?

She shakes her head as she leaves the door, already forgetting that she left late. It was almost midnight now and the buses stopped after 11pm. Eliza groaned again as she realized that she would have to take the subway home. Though, knowing the alternative is walking home, she doesn’t gripe too much. Looking over her shoulder, she quickly walks to the station.

Walking down the stairs, she’s surprised to find the subway station relatively packed. She thinks back to her shift, where there were a few customers talking about a concert in the area, so she figured that it must have just ended. Shrugging her shoulders and sighing, she walks up and pays for her ticket. Thankfully Eliza made it right before the subway was entering the station, so she didn’t have to wait long.

The doors open and everyone squeezes into the cabin. Eliza feels a few elbows in her side as all the drunk concert goers try to rush in at once. The mass of people push her from behind, forcing her against the back wall. She feels another elbow in her back as the rest of the crowd **** their way in. Then the doors close, locking everyone in place.

Eliza is at least thankful to have a window to look at during her ride as cramped as it was. It’s at least better than spending the whole time trying to avoid awkward eye contact. The cabin is filled with loud banter as everyone tries to talk over each other. Trying her best to ignore them, Eliza stares out into the dark tunnel. After a few minutes she feels something brush against her backside. Pinning it up to the rowdy teens, she quickly forgets about it. Then, it happens again, this time slightly harder than before. Now she figures something’s up. Getting ready for the next one, she waits. Eliza’s accusations are proved true, as she feels someone full on grab her ass. She tries to turn around to face whoever groped her, but a hand cups her mouth.

“Just stay quiet and let it happen.” Whispers a man into her ear. “You don’t want to make a scene in here now don’t ya? I wonder what Applebees will think when they see their employee on the news?” Eliza pauses, not sure what to do. She knows that she will most likely keep her job even if this groper gets arrested, but can she risk it? She really needs this job. Though there was something else in play, as deep down, there was...hesitation. Did she want this to happen?
