A Transformation

I look down on the Chieftain and my gramps. They're moving at an incredible speed. Both of them look a little fuzzy to me, but I can barely make out their movements. I descend slowly, keeping above them. Once I get close enough I make sure I'm behind the Chieftain. I then tuck away my wings and cast Hydra. I make each of the heads bite down on it. One bites its shoulder, another bites its waste, and the last bites its leg.

They both stop and I pull the Hydra back. The Chieftain starts turning when my gramps kicks its legs out. He kicks it again, while it's in the air, sending it sliding across the grass a solid ten feet away.

"What are you doing?" My gramps asks, a little shocked and a little angry.

"Helping! You were getting your ass kicked!" I reply and he grunts. Before either of us can say anything, something grabs me. It picks me up and I turn. I see the Chieftains holding me in its fist. It moved much faster than anything I'd seen before. My arms are stuck under their fingers. None of my skills could detect it before it grabbed me. It lifts me up and I see my gramps lunge for it. He raises his fist to punch. The Chieftain raises his palm to block. I can feel the impact vibrate through the air as my gramps punches its palm. The Chieftain smiles as it squeezes me and kicks my gramps. He goes flying backward, rolling in the dirt and only stopping nearly thirty feet away. The Chieftain squeezes me, hard. I feel my bones immediately start to break and shatter. At the same time my instincts take over, and I Multicast Devour. The Devour faces are coming out of my shoulders and leg.

The Chieftain drops me and I feel my Thought Acceleration skill start working in overdrive. Time seems to slow down as I slowly fall to the ground. That was way too close. That crush left me at 468 HP. Devour got me back to 1,083 HP. It's much faster and stronger than I thought. It must've been holding back this entire time. That explains why my gramps was getting his ass kicked. No, no time to think about that. How do I kill it? I'm down to just roughly 300 MP. I guess it's time for plan B. I just hope this works. And that I can still cast magic after transforming. I think before my feet hit the ground. I use my Moonlight Necklace's ability to turn into a Werewolf.

I read this as my body changes. I feel something grow from my back before wrapping around myself. I see wolf tails, covered in white fur around me. I feel something hot run across my skin. It starts on my toes before traveling up. It goes deep beneath the skin and down to my bones. The heat consumes me and I feel something hit the tails around me. I know I get sent rolling around the ground like a ball, but I don't feel any pain or discomfort. Or at least if I did, I didn't notice it over the heat. The heat fades away and the tails around me shrink back. They turn into nine separate tails, attached to my back just above my waist. My armor's grown to fit me however, it's changed. Instead of a shirt and pants, it's more a wide belt and loincloth. My boots and gloves have turned into cuffs around my wrists and ankles. I see my body looks exactly like the Werewolf that guarded Bergeths soul. Except for the fact my fur is white, while the other had grey fur. I look back up and see the Chieftain running toward me. He looks confused and frustrated. It's also moving much slower. To the point where it looks like one of my classmates running on the track. Except it's red and much larger. I recast Ancient Beast Strength before leaning forward and running with everything I have. I raised my left hand, or claw, and cut into its side as I pass.

Holy fuck! Now that's a lot of damage! I think before smiling. I turn back and face the Chieftain. He roars loudly making me want to try something. I do my best to howl and surprise myself when I do. My howl drowns out his roar and it just glares at me full of anger and rage. We rush each other again and I jump. I plan to Blink right below me to avoid its attack and slash its legs. But Blink doesn't work, and I get punched back.

I roll on the ground before digging my claws into it to stop myself. _Damn, I can't use any magic other than Ancient Beast magic. _I think before booking to the Chieftain. He's rushing me and pulls his leg back to kick me. I lunge forward and kick off the ground before he kicks me. I thrust my left arm into his chest and pierce his flesh. I pull out and jump back before he hits his own chest. I raise my left arm and cast Ancient Beast Slash. I send it to the Chieftain and he jumps over it. He creates cracks in the ground and goes about fifteen feet into the air. I smile when I see it'll land next to me. I jump back before getting ready to rush it. I put my front claws on the ground and get ready to sprint. The Chieftain lands and I immediately take off. I feel the wind run through my fur as I run. I get to the Chieftain and cut its arm.

It turns and punches me. I dodge before thrusting my right arm into its arm.

I feel my claws dig through the bone and break it. The Chieftain roars out in pain as I pull out. I jump back as it uses its other arm to sweep the ground. It stands up and I howl again. I get ready to sprint at it again and it raises its arm to punch. The injured arm dangles in the air. I launch myself forward, faster this time. I get to the Chieftain as it swings. I raise both my claws and duck under its punch. My claws run along its arm as it punches the ground behind me.
