A Tragic Miracle (END)

Two Weeks Later

It was morning. Satsuki's mother, Yuzuha was preparing breakfast.

Kazuma didn't recover from Satsuki feeding on him and died. This deeply effected Satsuki. There are times where she was still crying. It also caused her succubus urges to disappear. Yuzuha suspects that she is unconsciously draining small amounts of energy throughout each day to sustain herself. While this was something she had never seen before, there were stories of succubi who were able to do that with enough practice. Satsuki also hadn't shown any signs of sexual urges.

While she was finishing breakfast for the family, she heard a noise from the upper stairs bathroom. It sounded like Satsuki.

"What's wrong?" Yuzuha asked as she knocked on the bathroom door. A moment later, Satsuki opened the door. "I'm sorry," she said with a small hint of depression in her voice. "I haven't been feeling well lately."

It can't be, Yuzuha thought. But she had to make sure. "I'll be right back. Could you wait here please?"

Yuzuha returned with some medicine and most noticeably, a pregnancy test.

"Satsuki, please use this," she said as she handed her daughter the test. Satsuki was a little concerned when she saw the test. She took it and performed the test. Shortly after, the result came in.

It was positive.

"But you said it was very hard for a succubus to get pregnant." Satsuki said in shock.

"It is," Yuzuha confirmed. "One way is by taking in too much semen in a short amount of time, which shouldn't have happened with Kazuma."

"But the test says you're pregnant," Yuzuha said.

Nine months later...

"It's a boy." the doctor said.

"Do you have a name for him?"

"Yes," Satsuki said as she looked down lovingly on her new born son. "His name will be Kazuma".

Note from author: Sorry if this was not what you were expecting. After I had finished the scene with Kazuma and Satsuki, I already had the basic idea of Kazuma waking up a few hours later and his talks with Satsuki and Yuzuha about what happened. When I was about to go to sleep that night, my mind turned to how I ended the previous chapter, thought about the possibility of Kazuma dying, and suddenly I had the idea for this chapter. I didn't like the idea, but it was there and it practical wrote itself. Once I came up with this idea, I decided to write it, but only release it once the good chapter was done. I don't plan to end this story with only a bad ending. Again, sorry if you didn't like this chapter.
