A Sunday apart

Eventually Sean does have to go home, so Jessica gives him a ride, reluctantly taking him back to his house across town. It is a bit awkward heading out to her car with him still in his pajamas and her fully dressed, but no one in her neighborhood is out except her neighbor Toby, but he's just the harmless guy next door.

When they get to his house, Sean spends about five minutes making out with Jessica and letting her know that they will see each other at school tomorrow, and that everything will be okay. She smiles at him and knows that he is right, but just doesn't want to let him go. So they spend another ten minutes making out in the car until there is a tap on the passenger window, and Sean sees his dad and mom standing there trying not to laugh too hard. But when Sean and Jess blush hard and then get out of the car, their clothing looking so mismatched, they all just laugh it off and are happy to greet Jessica. Sean's mom give her a hug and his dad tells her how he is glad his son has such great taste in women, which earns him a slap on the arm from Sean's mom.

With one last kiss goodbye Sean and his family head inside, while Jessica makes the lonely trip back across town. She's not worried about anything, she's just young, and in love, with her heart happy to have someone she cares about so much being by her side, and looking out for her.

Jessica spends the rest of the day getting ready to greet her dad and step-mom as they come back from their trip. Her dad is happy to find a house that is mostly cleaned up, though he does remind Jessica to be sure to run the pool cleaner and take the trash down to the curb before dark so that the garbage company can pick it all up in the morning.

Later that night on Facebook Messenger:
Sean: So, how would you feel about making everything Facebook official. I know it's a dumb thing to ask, but I just want my friends from my old school to know how hot my new girlfriend is...

Jess: Well, that all depends. I mean, you never did officially ask me out.

Sean: Hahaha....OK Then.
Sean: Jessica, would you do me the honor of being my one and only? The one true thing for which I will try my best to find all the happiness in the world for? The one thing in the word for which I will do anything forever and ever?

Jess: ...
Jess: Geez Sean...you didn't have to make it so beautiful.

Sean: Why not? You are the most beautiful woman ever...why wouldn't I want to make my official offer to be your boyfriend be just as beautiful as I can?

Jess: I love you Sean.
Jess: Go look at your FB page for my answer.

Sean: You've made me the happiest man on Earth Jess. I love you too.
