Chapter 26 by dracone
What Plays Out Next?
A Sorceress Arrival
Ludmara was really happy; she finally got to adventure beyond where her mother had demanded of her. The buxom young sorceress was of noble pierage; her cousin was the princess of the kingdom of Irocet; that all said, she deliberately hid that information from everyone other than her local guild master, mostly because it was impossible to completely keep information from people that high in the bureaucratic structures, especially when that person still had reported to her mother due to the woman being the ruling noble of the region. Ludmara decided heading to the edge of the nation would be a good test of her skills, and she could probably practice her more advanced magics a bit more openly.
As an attractive young human woman and capable storm sorceress, she had elicited sighs of envy from her own mother. Her mother, the lord of land she grew up in, the younger sister of the current queen, the lady lord Ludmira, was a capable mage but had not been born with the natural aptitude for magics her sister, and later daughter, had and instead had to put in years of study in the arcane arts to get up to around the same level her sister was, and even then she always seemed to be a year or two shy of the magical capabilities of her sister, even when the two were stated to be at the level in terms of magic. Then she retired from the adventuring life, much like her sister, and got married and had her daughter, Ludimira. By the time she was twelve years of age, Ludmira, much like her aunt, Queen Ludmilla, had a natural aptitude for magic.
But while the queen had a natural aptitude for fire magics, helping her to earn the nickname “Fire Hound” back in her adventuring days, Ludmira was born with a natural aptitude for storm magics. It was theorized that different forces acted as the origin of power for sorcerers or sorceresses, and it was no secret that many in the nation of Irocet had the blood of demons and the like, nobility included, stretching all the way back to when the nation was known by a different name that was intentionally forgotten by the populous and ruled over by demons, devils, and other manners of fiends. It was believed sorcerers and sorceresses with a natural inclining towards fire magic were descended from those original ruling fiends. While those with Ludmira’s talents were descended from something else, demons with storm powers have always been exceedingly rare, the idea that they would sire offspring with mortals wasn’t outside of the realm of possibility, but the threat of mortals having a natural means to fight with elemental abilities that most demons didn’t have some level of resistance towards was seen as a typically bad move for the ruling demons, at least according to the scholars that have spent their time piecing together that era of the nation’s history. It was believed those with an aptitude for storm sorcery were born through the union of human and air or storm elemental that was subjugated via demonic magics; it made far more sense to the scholars in how the abilities of those with the power of storm sorcery were known to operate.
It was highly uncommon, even in the modern era, to see bloodlines like that converge, especially with the confirmation being basically one or two generations apart. It took her longer than she anticipated, and she heard a few interesting rumors along the way, but she was finally coming up on the guild building and the inn that neighbored it; she had ironically bypassed the church by taking a route that was usually disregarded. So now Ludmara was going around with slightly damaged attire since she fought a few monsters, and her clothing got caught on some foliage and rocks along the way.
Her first stop would be to stop by the guild to check in, drop off her kills, and see what sort of requests were available in the area. After that, a quick check-in with the inn to get her room and unload her bags and the like. She had three carrying items on her, a magical haversack, a small chest she thought would be handy, and a hip bag, in addition to her component pouch, which she kept on the side opposing the hip bag. Ludmira had heard some interesting things about some of the adventurers that were active in the area.

Via the dracus imps outside, under the guise of the kobolds they used to be, Hilthrika was able to monitor the outside of the complexes far more effectively than we she had just been a dragon-kin druid. She could see the young woman approaching; she was delectable, Delvin would definitely enjoy this one. She saw a young human woman, in her late teens or early 20s, from what the demoness could make out, with windy white hair, a bit of rarity among humans, with an exceptionally sensual figure. She was dressed in traveling attire, it looked a little torn and worn in a few places, but it also looked a bit more high quality than your typical adventuring outfit.
As Marin, Hilthrika, made a point to meet the young lady at the desk when she entered the facilities. “Greetings,” said Marin, “you’re a new face, care to share why you’re in the area?”
“Sure,” said the young lady, “you can call me Gale Breach; I decided to spend some time in this area for a bit; my family was keeping me much closer to home until recently.”
“Ah ha,” said Marin with a hint of excitement, “so you’re the talented storm sorceress we got word about a while back. Truth be told, we got the word you were coming to the area a while ago; rumors seem to fly at the speed of a flash fire, or so it seems. I’m Marin, the coordinator for this guild facility; the guild master has some errands she needed to run at the moment, so she’ll be unavailable for the foreseeable future. As for your accommodations, the innkeeper finished preparing them the other day; I do hope things are to your liking. Is there anything you would like to know before heading over there to unload your luggage?”
“Any missions I could use to get a better understanding of the area,” inquired Ludmara.
“Sadly, no,” said Marin, “we did have a monster causing issues for the neighboring farmlands, but one of our membership already took care of it a few days ago; it will be some time before something like that pops up on our notice board again.”
“Well, a little boredom can be good too,” said Ludmara, “it will give me time to organize some things I’ve been putting off a little too long.”
“Good to hear,” said Marin, “now, if you would please follow me.” Marin got out from behind the desk and started leading Ludmara over to the inn.

Lord of Corruption
Corrupting All Women Into His Loyal Demonic Sluts
Delvin Artanus, a demon-kin, was the only one looking after the inn his mother's family had owned and operated for generations, amusingly neighboring an Adventurers' Guild, but learns that he is to become the new Lord of Corruption when a succubus shows up to tell him this and act as his mentor during the early part of his transition. The next thing he knows, Delvan is corrupting all the women around him and completing their transformation into his loyal fiends by literally fucking them into his loyal demons as part of the completion process of their corruption by him.
