A Somewhat Suspicious Alley

You hurry through a narrow alley just beyond. It's not exactly wholesome in terms of appearance, but there doesn't seem to be any trouble at least. After a while of walking, you spot a man in the distance, wearing rugged linen clothes. He doesn't look dangerous, all things considered. Perhaps just a regular member of a not-so-regular area of the city.

There's no one here save you and him. And the only sounds echoing are your respective footsteps, and the slow drip of dirty water from a gutter up.
