A Small Delay

Ariel slumped off and was awaken by a cold splash of water across his face as two women stared at the half naked man in their camp "Wake up!" Lula called. Ariel blinked and hastily pulled his pants up. "Fools!" he struggled to fit his tight pants around his now much larger balls. " Do you know who I am." still struggling. Lula scoffs "A pervert?" Ariel swears he could hear giggling. He makes a dejected face, "I don't have to deal with this" he then blinks out of existence, well back into his domain. Ashamed he looks at his restricted balls, "I will need to be refitted, these things are so full." He feels a small twinge of arousal. "Damn thing had some really powerful magic."

Ryena and Lula had a discussion about what to do next, Ryena felt like she needed to protect the egg but Lula was not as mentally broken as her. Lula tried to leave the camp away from the madness but she could not make it more than half a mile before succumbing to intense magic that weakened her resolve. She was **** to crawl back so the magic would subside. **** to stay near the egg Lula convinced Ryena that they should probably find a safer location just encase more unwanted visitors showed up. Lula agreed and they moved back withing the cavern and Ryena's servant fairy Leid guided them to a nearby abandoned mining outpost. The place was not the most comfortable palace but it had a sturdy door and they managed to scavenge some supplies, an old lantern with a few pints of oil, some dusty canvas sheets, scraps of lumber, and a hidden cache of booze. Ryena also had other necessities in her pocket dimension bag.

So focused on manipulating its biology the entity within the egg did not notice the change in location. Withdrawn to form a plan to create a form that could had the ability to undergo metamorphosis, like those of an insect, a form that could shed weakness by transformation. The array of creatures within the consciousness memory that it could transform into was all over the place, dozens of species of animals ranging from large beasts to small critters. Its plan was to create a body that could rapidly grow and consume lots of biomatter as quickly as possible and then it when enough was collected it would undergo a final transformation. The form was quit simple but the simpler the form the less time he would spend immobile as an egg.

In the middle of the night on the third day within the old mining facility the egg cracked and split as a creature resembling a large snake emerged. Unlike a snake it had several eyes and a segmented body, like that of a worm. It slithered around looking for its first prey. Ryena was sitting on a pallet next to the shell and the snakelike creature began to wrap itself around her. He knew this being, he could feel his own mana within her. She was startled at the thing staring at her, before she could scream the creature hissed "Who are you?." She spoke her name and asked "Who are you?" in return. The snakelike creature contemplated again, it slithered off her and said "I do not know? I have several names in my memories but they are not me? If I think you knew me as someone called Grok? But I am not Grok, at least part of me is but part of me isn't. "

Ryena still a bit hazy from just standing watch yawns, and moves near the snake again, and gently grasps its head and looks into its eyes _"You do have Groks eyes, but are so much smaller. The binding magic still ties us to you so it must mean, You are our master." The snake stares back "Master?...Yes I sense the magic but I am not Grok, maybe...I'm just vext for a name?", another voice from the shadows "Well Vex is a better name than Grok, now please be quiet and let me rest, those cave rats were all over the place and I must have killed twenty of those big bastards. _" Lula remarks half asleep
