Drake walks off stage for a moment, returning with a device that appears to be a rack with a silk sheet looped around the top. As he approaches, you note that it's a bit taller than you, maybe coming a bit above your head.
"My good madam, this first trick is deceptively simple. All that you need do is stand in place for a moment. Can you do that for me?" Drake asks.
"I suppose so," you say.
"Excellent," Drake says. He rolls the rack over to you. Once it's in place a step or so ahead of you, he grabs the sheet and rolls it down. Once it's down, all you can see is an expanse of white other than a hole that's cut out of the sheet, allowing you a slight view of the audience. You can hear some laughs and cheers from the crowd. "Well, my friend. Could you please place your face into the hole in the sheet?"
Not wanting to be a poor sport, you oblige the man and stick your face through the sheet. The laughing and cheering increases, and as you look down you can see why. The sheet has an image on it, sans the face. With you now poking through, the image is completed.
