A Shift in Perspective
Walter sat there, watching Mr. Henderson. The teacher was a man of "order," but as they spoke, Walter realized the man was also easily distracted by aesthetics. He noticed how Henderson’s eyes would momentarily glaze over or flick toward the door whenever a female voice drifted through the hallway.
So, Walter thought, a mischievous glint appearing in his eyes. He likes a certain... visual stimulus to keep his gears turning.
If the teacher wanted to look at something, why not give him something he couldn't ignore? But Walter didn't want to just show him; he wanted to test the limits of his new invention—the ability to shift form—while keeping his own sharp wit intact.
"You know, Mr. Henderson," Walter said, his voice dropping to a lower, more contemplative tone. "Sometimes, the problem isn't with the student. It's about the perspective of the observer."
"A profound thought, Mr. Smith," Henderson replied, though he seemed a bit distracted by the sound of footsteps outside.
"Let me show you what I mean," Walter murmured. He reached into his pocket and gripped the small, brass-encrolled device that could trigger a transformation. He knew it was risky—he was in an office! But the thrill of the experiment was too great.
He clicked the mechanism silently.
In a sudden, blurred rush of light and shifting molecules, Walter’s frame began to change. His broad shoulders narrowed into a delicate but shapely feminine frame; his rugged face softened, growing beautiful with high cheekbones and bright, intelligent eyes. A cascade of long, golden blonde hair tumbled down where his short hair had been.
Within seconds, sitting in the chair was no longer an older man in a button-down shirt, but a stunningly beautiful woman—his daughter Sandra. She looked about twenty-two, with a curvaceous, hourglass figure that filled out her clothes in a very different way than he did.
The transformation was silent to the ears of anyone outside, but inside the room, the air seemed to hum.
Henderson froze. His eyes widened, his jaw tightening as he stared at the beautiful blonde woman who had suddenly replaced Mr. Smith. He blinked, wondering if he’s having a stroke or a sudden bout of heat exhaustion.
"Mr.... Smith?" Henderson stammered, his voice cracking slightly.
The "woman" smiled—a wide, knowing grin—and spoke with Walter's deep, masculine, and somewhat gravelly voice. "Don't look so shocked, Professor. It’s just a little change in perspective."
Henderson’s eyes traveled down her body, then back up to the face that was somehow both new and strangely familiar.
To drive the point home—and to test how much of an effect this would have on the man's composure—the "woman" reached up. With a playful smirk, she grabbed her own ample chest, lifting them slightly as if inspecting the weight of her new anatomy.
"You know," Walter said through his daughter’s lips, his deep voice vibrating in the air. "I was thinking about how physics deals with... mass and volume. And seeing as I've suddenly acquired quite a bit more 'mass' up here..." He gave them a little squeeze, looking Henderson dead in the eye. "...it’s making it much harder to focus on the textbook."
Henderson swallowed hard, his eyes practically glued to her hands.
"Is there... is there a problem with the curriculum?" he managed to **** out, his face flushing a deep red.
Walter-as-Sandra laughed, a rich sound that sounded like bells being rung by a man's vocal cords. He leaned forward, letting the cleavage become the centerpiece of the conversation.
"The only problem is," Walter said with a wink, "that it’s hard to talk about gravity when these two are trying to pull all your attention toward the front! Tell me, Mr. Henderson... do you think they'll make it harder for me to pass your class, or just harder for you to grade?"
The silence that followed was heavy enough to be a physical weight in the room. Henderson’s eyes were wide, his breathing coming in shallow, ragged puffs. He looked at the beautiful blonde woman sitting in his guest chair—a woman who possessed an impossible, breathtaking physique—and then he looked at her face, searching for the man he had been talking to just moments ago.
He was a man of science; he believed in the laws of matter. But the matter in front of him was defying every law he knew.
"Whose... whose body is this?" Henderson whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of confusion and a sudden, overwhelming surge of desire. He leaned forward instinctively, as if drawn by a magnetic field. "Who are you really?"
The woman—Walter—leaned back in the chair, the movement causing her chest to shift provocatively. She crossed her legs, the sound of her sheer stockings rubbing together filling the quiet office.
"Well," Walter said, his deep, masculine voice vibrating through his daughter's delicate throat. It was a jarring, surreal contrast that seemed to make Henderson’s head spin even faster. "Technically? This is my daughter Sandra's body. She’s visiting from out of town... or she was, until I decided the conversation needed a little more 'gravitational pull'."
He let his hands slide down to her waist, tracing the curve of her hips before bringing them back up.
"But don't worry, Professor," Walter continued with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "The mind inside is still the same old Mr. Smith. Just... a lot more distracting now, wouldn't you say?"
