A Realization

Panax stared at the branch that nearly brained her and climbed off of the nuts that were hurting her ass. She looked at the pile carefully and briefly wondered why she didn't realize that was there before. Then she reached forward with her hand to clutch at one of them. A sharp pain jabbed through her hand and she groaned and released her grip on the nut. "Ah! Fuck..."

She examined her hand and found no visible sign of damage, but her grip was weakened and a sharp pain jolted her every time she attempted to hold something in its grip. She could only hope that nothing was broken.

With a sigh, she examined the crumped branch that nearly landed on her and wondered if she could fashion it into something for self-defense. It would be hard, especially with her hurt hand but it was better than nothing.

With a frustrated grunt, Panax failed to make even a slightly useful weapon out of the branch. Her injured hand did not help and in the end, she was left simply with a pile of useless pieces of wood.

Finally, She grabbed a few nuts out of the nut pile and went to put them into her pocket. Her hand slid smoothing down her side and she sighed in defeat. "Of course, I don't have any pockets." Without much else to do, she decided to hold onto them for when she may be feeling a bit more peckish than she does now. Then continues on.
