A Picnic Dinner

"What are your plans after the Litch King and the Katorg guild are dealt with?" I ask and they think it over.

"Where'd this come from?" Myla asks and I shrug. "Well, it'll mostly depend on our parents. Our guilds were friendly before this, but now we're very close. So we might end up staying here for a while, at least until something comes up that needs the Guildmasters."

"We'll definitely stay a few weeks after too. Just until everything settles down. But we won't be leaving right away. We might need to return to our Guild HQs. But we are Citizens of your Domain. So we can still hop on over whenever." Hino says and I smile. Crap. I forgot they're Citizens. It's just a matter of time before they enter my Domain and stumble upon Gaia. I should probably tell them about her. But I'd hate to make them keep a secret again. Myla already hated keeping my Seals from her father. I'll have to ask Gaia first. But what about Verona? Should I tell...

"Eric, you still in there?" Myla asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry. I just got lost in thought." I reply.

"Well, as I was saying. Have you thought about your Guild Halls layout? Like, are you going to do any renovations?" She says and I nod.

"A little. I want to make the doorways a little wider. Innu likes to spread her wings while walking around. I'd also like to add a basement. I don't remember seeing one there already. I'm sure I'll tear some walls down and add some elsewhere. But I want to wait until I see the building again. That way I can visualize it better." I reply and she nods.

"Do you have the building's blueprints? You can use those to look at its layout and change it as you want." Hino says and I nod.

"Yeah, Asami made sure we got them when we get the deed. Once the repairs on the building are done, we're going to start with our renovations."

"You're not going to get someone to do it for you?" Myla asks me, sounding surprised.

"I might depending on how much we renovate. But for now, we want to do it ourselves. Luna kept asking Asami about when we'd get the building. During her explanations on how it'll take a while. She explained we're going to renovate it. Now both Innu and her want to tear a wall down." I say causing them both to laugh.

"Eric, do you need to be somewhere tonight? We probably should've asked sooner." Myla asks and I shake my head no. She sighs with relief and we continue walking while talking about various topics. We talk about our guilds, then our favorite sports and tv shows. After about thirty minutes we sit down on a bench.

"Eric, I'm curious. What's your strongest spell? Not in destructive power but in damage? Which of your spells do the highest damage?" Myla asks and I think about it.

"It would have to be Devour or Hydra. But Hydra would only be it if I use it to fire a Pure Elemental blast. Devour does a bit more damage than that, but Hydra's blast is much wider." I say and she nods. "What about you two? What magic do you use and what's the strongest attack spell you have?"

"I use the Water school of magic, like my mom. It has a recovery spell but mostly attack spells. The strongest spell would have to be Vortex. Vortex creates a spiral of water, like your Flame Pillar spell. It sucks out the air in the vicinity and traps the target. They then drown in there." Hino says and I nod.

"I use the Light school like my dad. It's mostly for damaging and blinding the enemy. It's good for keeping a monster's attention, hence why we both use shields. The strongest spell would be Blinding Nova. I heard you saw my father use it against a Hydra. It's very powerful, but I can't cast it. It's the fourth most mana expensive spell that humans can cast. I just don't have enough to use it yet. But I am close. If I keep up my mana training, I could cast it in a few months." Myla says and I smile. Hino stands up and turns to me.

"We should get going. I'm sure the two of you are just as hungry as me." She says and I nod before getting up. We start walking back toward the park's entrance.

"What do you have planned for dinner?" I ask and they both smile.

"It's a secret." Myla says and I chuckle. before we get to the entrance, they both turn off the path. I smile when I realize where they're going. I follow them to the clearing. Once we get there they each pull a picnic basket out of their Spacial Pouch. We sit down on the grass and they each open their baskets.

"So, Hino and I both made something for dinner. We want to know whose you prefer. After hearing you talk about Asami's cooking, we want to know how we compare." Myla says and I nod. She takes out a plastic container filled with lasagna. I turn and see Hino take out one with grilled fish in it. When I turn back to Myla she's holding a fork up. On it is a piece of lasagna. She pushes it toward me and I get the hint. I open my mouth and eat it. I chew and swallow it before feeling someone pull my arm. I turn and see Hino holding up a piece of her fish. She feeds it to me and I eat it. After I swallow they both look at me expectantly.

"Isn't the guy supposed to be the one feeding the girl?" I ask, teasing them and they each glare at me.

"That isn't the answer to the question. Besides, that only works if there's one girl." Myla says and I chuckle.
