A New-U saloon

"I don't know," Shailene said. "What do you want to start with first?"

"Uh ...," Joey said. "Maybe over there?"

Shailene looked over to the store Joey was pointing at and read the sign above. "New-U?" she asked, wondering what the store was about. But regardless, she had offered the young woman to help her with her appearance and so they headed there. Through the window Shailene could spot some pictures, apparently showing the before and after looks of former customers. They tend to go from plain to sexy most of the time, sometimes the girl ended up almost like a doll. "So, why you did not go here alone?" she asked. "Just curious."

"Oh ...," Joey said. "I ... I don't think I have the courage alone."

A small bell rang as they went inside and a young woman, maybe Shailene's age, came over to greet them. For a moment she looked at Shailene, trying to place her. "Oh my," she suddenly said. "You Shailene Woodley, right? I love your movies."

"Oh ... you do?" Shailene said.

She disappeared and a moment later a muscular guy in a white shirt appeared. The girl introduced him as the owner of the saloon. He shook hands with both of the girls, mustering them both.

"Tina said one of you wants a makeover?" Shailene pointed at Joey and the owner thought about it. "Well, the potential is there. What is the young lady aiming for?"

"I ...," Joey said. "Maybe my lips a bit? I am a bit short on money."

The owner smiled and made a gesture with his hand. "That's where your friend comes in," he said. "I would love to have some signed autograph cards and maybe some pictures were taken together. So I would offer you full service for free."

Joey's eyes got big and she looked at Shailene. "Well, I think I can sign your cards," Shailene said.

"Great," the owner said. "Follow me, Joey," he said. "Can you take Shailene to the waiting room, Tina? I will be there in a few minutes when our young lady is getting her makeover."

Tina nodded and together with her, Shailene walked into an adjacent room, nicely decorated with comfortable chairs and some magazines laying on a small table. Tina offered her a coffee and then excused herself, telling her that her boss would be with Shailene in just a few minutes.
