A New Blade

I open the door and step inside. I grab my hammer and start to heat up the forge. I open my Market device and quickly find what I'm looking for. I buy it for 30000 and a fox appears. It gives me the ten Enchanted Steel ingots I bought. I place the ingots in the forge and smelt them down to a liquid. I then take all 16 of my Bergeths Claws from my bag and place them in. They melt down and I mix them into an alloy. I pour it into a ingot cast. I cast Draconic Ice onto it to immediately cool it off and take it out. I do this for all 15 Ingots I can make and Observe them.

Ancient Beast Alloy(15), Mythical Blacksmith Material

This alloy was made by combining claws from the ancient beast Bergeth and Enchanted Steel. It contains the raw power of Bergeth and his magic as well as the durability of the Enchanted Steel.

I take the Ingots and start to heat them up. I take out my phone and turn on some music. Fortunately the room is soundproof so I don't have to worry about waking the girls up. However I do go and leave a note on the bedroom door so they know where I am beforehand. I reenter the workshop and take off my shirt. I remember the last time I did this I got soaked in sweat and don't want it sticking to me again. Afterwards I see the metal is heated and I take it out. I start hammering it and working on it. I use all 15 of my Ingots making it, but I manage to finish it. I placed my Knowledge Core in it beforehand. This was easier than last time. Was it because I did it before so I know what to do? Or was it because my Blacksmith skill leveled up to 2? Anyway let's go get my Mini Hydra Heart. Oh and lets take this and... There! My Sandelhall Wrappings are on the blades grip. I go outside and find Hino, Myla, Luna and Asami outside.

"He's alive!" Myla says sarcastically.

"What were you making?" Hino asks me and I see her eyes drift down.

"I was making a new sword. I got another Magic Core and wanted to use it." I say holding up my new Katana. It's a very light grey color. I assume from Bergeths white claws mixing with the dark steel. "But I have one more thing to do before it's done." I say walking over to the chest. I open it and see it's inventory screen pop up. I take the heart out and go upstairs.

"What is it?" Luna asks as I start climbing the stairs.

"I'm going to Enchant it with the Mini Hydras Heart." I answer as I reach the top. I enter the Enchanting room and the girls follow. I place my Katana on the stone altar and the heart next to it. I cast Enchant and choose to use the Heart. It uses 250 MP and I accept. The heart starts turning into a faint blue mist and it immediately gets sucked into the Katana. I wait until it finishes to Observe it.

Ancient Beast Katana Lvl 50, Mythical

This Katana was forged with an alloy made from Bergeths Claws and Enchanted Steel. It is incredibly Durable and contains the ancient wolfs strength. It has been infused with a Knowledge Core. This core slightly raises the damage as well as add its magic to it. The grip has been wrapped with Sandhall Wrappings. This has given the entire weapons its power. It has been Enchanted with a Mini Hydra Heart. This imbues it with the beasts power raising its damage. The blade deals 1500 melee damage, but if you're below Level 40 it'll deal 500. Hidden Properties: The power of Verona has given the blade the ability to manipulate the surrounding mana. This allows it to gather up to 500 MP once a day. The wielder may then take it into themselves, recharging their own mana. The Sandhall Wrappings give the blade more power, letting them cut through objects and spells they otherwise wouldn't be able to. The Mini Hydra Heart allows it to store mana and unleash it as a pure elemental attack, dealing twice the weapons normal damage. Durability: 1500/1500

"How is it?" Hino asks after seeing my smile.

"I feel like I just cheated." I answer in disbelief.

"What would you have cheated in?" Luna asks not understanding what I meant.

"In life." I say before reading them the description word for word.

"Holy shit!" Myla almost shouts when I finish. "Are you sure it says a pure elemental attack? "

"Yes, why?" I ask back.

"A pure elemental attack cannot be blocked by anything magical. And it ignores defenses. That's the main reasons Hydras are so terrifying. They have pure elemental breath attacks. Mini ones don't but the big ones do. It essentially guarantees a hit if you can't dodge, since its impossible to block. However no items or spells outside of Mythical can use those attacks. And even then only 7 other weapons or items are confirmed to exist and can use that." Hino answers and I smile wider.

"So are you guys ready to go to the Ruins?" I ask them.

"Not yet!" Asami says. "Eric you're covered in sweat and need a shower. Besides you still have... Four minutes before you were supposed to leave!" Asami says, and I know she used the time as a reason before checking how much was left but I still laugh.

"Okay, I'll go shower. I'll be back soon." I say and leave back to my apartment. I'm about to start showering when someone knock on my door. I quickly wrap a towel around my waist. I walk up to the door and look through the peep hole.
