A Mythic Tree has its way on an unassuming population.

Hidden deep within the Japanese Mountain range, there's an isolated village.

This little village had prospered for countless generations, needing nothing but each other and the blessings of the Kami to continue on.

Then, bombs had fallen. War raged. A World War that had touched everyone and everything in the world. Their village no different.

When WWII came to an end, what remained of the old village was salvaged. Some stayed behind to try and recreate what they once had, while others took this is a sign that change was needed, and so they had left to start anew elsewhere.

One family -- a Shinto Priest, his wife and their many children -- had moved to America. Among their meager possessions was one of the last remaining seed of their most sacred tree. It was the seed of a one-of-a-kind tree that had been cultivated by their family for hundreds of years, said to have been given to them by the Kami of Spring, their sacred duty to care for it.

In English, the name of this tree was translated as "The Heavenly Tree of Love-Bearing Fruit", named so for the delicious peaches it would provide to the village after the village would partake in their fertility rituals. When its flowers bloomed, it had an overpowering effect on the people who breathed it. Not only did it give them fruit to feast from, but it also led to the conception of the next generation.

In America, the family had done everything to ensure that a new tree would sprout and they had protected it until it had reached maturity.

The tree was fully grown, and was now considered a landmark to the immigrant families of Little Tokyo. This year, the tree is ready to bloom for the first time. A festival would be performed in celebration, but can this new country handle the power of the Heavenly Tree?
