"Magic! I'm going to do Magic!" Amelia declares without a second thought

Alex nods, "I expected as much, but what kind of magic? There are quite a few different types of magic out there ranging from elementals to one that has niche effects to straight up just firing your mana at targets."

Amelia ponders on the questions for a while before saying with resolve. "I'm going to become a summoner."

Alex stares at Amelia deadpan and asks, "You just want to summon a harem of monster girls, don't you?"

"Ehehehe, you know me so well."

Alex sighs, "Very well, I'll help you get started on summoning magic... later. First, we have to take a look at your stats. Why don't you bring up your status so we can check?"

"Sure." Amelia agrees and with a mental order, a blue status screen pops up in front of her.

"Let's see if there's a way..." Amelia mumble as she starts fiddling with the screen.

"A-ha!" She exclaims a while later as another screen pops up over the Status Screen. This one seems to explain what the stats do.

[HP - Hit Point. How much damage you can take before passing out. Should you incured a fatal damage before your HP hit zero or be attacked again after, you will lose your life.]

[MP - Magic Points. How much energy you have to cast your skills and spells.]

[Strength - Measure your physical power, how hard you hit and how much you can carry. Every 10 points of Strength add 1 inventory slot.]

[Endurance - Measure how resilient your body is. You gain 10 HP for every 1 point of Endurance.]

[Agility - Measure how nimble, fast, and flexible you are. You regenerate Agility/10 HP per minute.]

[Spirit - Measure the power of your soul, similar to how Strength is for the physical body. Increase MP by 10 for every 1 point of Spirit.]

[Mind - Measure how strong your mental connection to the energy of the world is and increase your thought speed/memory retention. You regenerate Mind/10 MP per minute.]

[Charisma - Measure your social abilities and physical attractiveness.]

"Well, that's convenient." Alex remarks as he read the screen. "Hm... since you wanted to be a mage then we should focus on your Spirit and Mind stats but you shouldn't leave out your physical stats either."

"Why not just dump it all into the magic stats? Since I'm going to be a summoner, I don't really need much physical power right?" Amelia asks.

"Aside from the fact that I've seen people who tried to take in too much mana into their body explode and we don't know f your ability will help with that. Better be safe than sorry after all. Then there's the fact that the Abyss isn't a game despite how much your ability tried to be one. People will and have figured out ways around summons, ways to block them out entirely, and even ways to banish summons. You're going to need to be able to defend yourself should that ever happen. Even if you don't want to fight directly, I suggest putting some points into Endurance and Agility so you can at least run away." Alex explain.

"Ah... then what do you recommend I do?" Amelia asks again.

"Personally, I would put 1 point into Endurance, Agility, and maybe Strength for every 2 points in Mind and Spirit." Alex suggests.

"What about Charisma? How am I supposed to get a harem of beautiful girls if I don't upgrade my Charisma?" Amelia pouts.

"Amelia... read the description. That's basically a dump stat." Alex deadpan.

"But harem..." Amelia pouts.

"If you really want to raise it, then work on your social skills by yourself. If training can raise your physical stats then you can raise your charisma without adding points to it." Alex counter.

"Fine..." Amelia reluctantly agrees.

[For thinking things through and making a logical decision, you gain +1 Mind.]

"Heh," Alex chuckles, "See, even your ability agrees with me."

Amelia pouts again, "And now even my own ability is teaming up against me."

Just then, there's a knock at the door.
