A MASSIVE Snow Bear, South of The Wall

Aegon Looked as He Saw A Massive Snow Bear Before Them. "Get The Girls outta Here Lord Karstark, I'm Charging You With Their Safety. Take Some Men With You, Everyone Else, Pray We Survive This Onslaught." Says Aegon As He Unsheathes His Sword. "Are You Sure Your Grace? We Could Just Back Away?" Suggests Stark. "Look At That Bear, It's Old, It's Huge, It's Pissed Off, and It's Capacity For Catch Up is Greater Than our Capacity to Run Away." Says Aegon. "True, hmm, Let's Just Make This Count." Says The Grim Wolf. "Aye, That's All We Can Do." Says Aegon as he Prepares For A Possible ****.

Aegon Was Amongst The Few Survivors To Face The Snow Bear, But This Wasn't To Say He Was Uninjured. Indeed He Was Lucky, One of The Bear's Claws Was Sticking Out of His Gut. Aegon Surveyed The Carnage, Some Glover, Cerwyn, and Manderly Boys Were Strewn Out Across The Site. Sadly Ser Mandon Moore, Ser Oswell Whent and Ser Richard Lonmouth Were Also Deceased, Moore Lay Mostly Ripped in Half, Whent Had His Head Torn Clean off, and Lonmouth Was Lucky To Have Been Spared The Same Fate as Whent, Though This Was Clearly Only Avoided Just Barely. Lonmouth Had His Throat Torn Out, or Perhaps Shredded Out, Was More Accurately Portrayed.

Aegon Laid Against The Tree With Lord Stark. "You Alive Your Grace?" Asks Stark. "Aye, But Not As Well As You. I've Got A Massive Claw In My Gut, My Three Knights Lay Deceased, and Most of Our Party Lay Defeated, Dying, Dismembered, Decapitated Or Just Plain Dead. At Least We Avenged Them By Killing That Thing." Says Aegon. "Aye, That's All We Could Do." Stark States Grimly. "Lord Stark, If You Can Walk, Get Out of Here, Find Karstark, Find Help, and If You Don't Make it Back in Time......." Aegon Starts, but Stark Holds His Hand Out. "Wait Do You Hear That?" Asks The Wolf. Aegon Strains to Hear, and He Can Faintly Hear Men, Shouting, Horses Fighting Against Riders.

Aegon Begins to Loose Some of His Sight. "If This Is To Be My End, Then Let it be Known, That I Name............My Brother, Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen, Second...........................Son of Rhaegar of House Targaryen and Lyanna of House Stark, My Heir. He Will Reign As King Jaehaerys The Third, and He Will................" Aegon Declares before He's Overcome With Dying Adrenaline and Exhaustion. Aegon Slumps, Breath Shallow, and Eyes Barely Opened...........................................................................

Help Arrived In The Form of Robert Baratheon, Ser Rodrik Cassel, Lord Gregor Forrester, Young Lord Rob Stark, and Jaehaerys Himself. They Lead A Small **** Of Northern Soldiers After The Kings Party, found Him Barely Alive, Bleeding, and Near ****. Eddard Stark Was Still Conscious, and Was Helped to His Feet by His Old Friend. Orders to Carry The Fallen Back To Winterfell Were Given, and The Young Dragon King, Still Clinging To Life, Was Carried Back By Robert Himself.

Aegon Was Being Cared For By Master Luwin, His Wounds Were Extensive, and They Were Deep. Luwin Had To Change His Bandages Every Few Hours, and He had To Keep The King Sedated For The Most Part. Luwin Had Forbidden All But A Few To Visit The King. Jaehaerys Spent A Lot Of Time By His Brother's Bedridden Side, His Conviction To Join The Night's Watch, Now Very Shaken By What Had Befallen His Brother, and The Knowledge That Aegon Had Named His Heir Before He Lost Consciousness. Other's Came To Visit Him, But Most Prayed For Him, At Sept and At Godswood.

Jaehaerys Had Forbidden The Maester From Informing The Rest of The Royal Family in Kingslanding of Aegon's Situation, Out of Fear For His Safety, and The Fate of Their House Should The News Spread. When Jaehaerys Was Not With Aegon, He Was Visited By Some of Houses Stark, Karstark, Mormont, Forrester and His Aunt Dany. His Fate Was Uncertain.
