A Lust-Tinged Realization

After Veronica finished sharing Nat's plan, the remaining seven members of the expedition began investigating the ruins as the rest headed back to civilization. At first, the overgrown, carving covered wall and the handful of crumbling pillars in front of it, seemed like a small, albeit unusual, find. That was until, while examining a particularly overgrown section of the stone wall, Nat discovered a passage hidden behind the botanical veil. "Veronica, come here! There's more to this place than there looks!" Nat called out to the alluring archaeologist as she attempted to discern the worn carvings on a pillar halfway across the clearing. "What have you found?" Veronica asked Nat as she joined him beside the overgrown cliff face. In reply, Nat pushed some of the vines to one side, revealing the ancient passage behind them. "This is... unheard of..." Veronica said, a mixture of confusion and awe in her voice. "And immensely intriguing." Nat added. "Just imagine the things we might find in there..." "I bet you're thinking that Adam and his colleagues will be among them." Veronica knowingly replied. "Eh, you got me there..." Nat conceded.

After sharing their newest discovery with the remainder of the team, Nat, Veronica, and two of the other archaeologists proceeded down the ancient stone passageway, leaving the rest of the team behind to continue investigating the surface-level ruins, as well as to report back to civilization should their more adventurous companions get lost. Upon entering the tunnel, among the first things the pair of archaeologists noticed were the many carvings that adorned the walls of the passageway. The dust of countless centuries obscured these carvings far less than the similar timespan of weathering that the ones on the wall and pillars outside the tunnel had endured. As their flashlight beams passed over the walls, Nat and Veronica saw a series of scenes and figures that, once they had gotten a bit farther down the tunnel, appeared to depict a journey of mythological proportion. However, as Nat looked over the carvings as he and Veronica continued down the tunnel, he noticed two truly bizarre things about them. First, they seemed to have a sizable and inexplicable Classical Greek influence, and second, the figures in the carvings were all curvaceous, musclebound women.

"You're seeing this too, right?" Nat asked Veronica after walking down the tunnel for several minutes. "How could I not?" Veronica answered. "The style of these carvings is a blending of two originating in cultures two continents and ten times as many centuries removed from one another! And that's not even taking into account all the buff, busty women in them." At that moment, Nat, on the brink of laughing at the spectacular absurdity of the situation he was now in, jokingly proclaimed "Veronica, we found the land of the Amazons!" Veronica only half registered Nat's words as she returned to examining, or really ogling, the carvings. She'd always had a fetish for tall, strong, curvy women, and seeing these detailed carvings had her mind whirling with Amazonian fantasies. Normally, she wouldn't have been so transfixed by depictions of scantily clad Amazons, but something about these carvings had managed to get her hot and bothered. Maybe it was the subtle bulges in the fronts of their loincloths...
