A Hotel-Elf's desire

Reader and Meowlody made their way to the hotel, waiting while Alyza finished with another customer before approaching her.

"Did you find her? Did it work?" She asked hopefully, turning slightly pink as Reader approached her.

"It Did!" Reader said happily. "I levelled and feel a lot better now. And your friend asked me to bring something to you as well - not sure what it is, but she asked me to stick around while you opened it."

"Oh! Well, let's see..." Alyza inspected the package, her complexion suddenly going from slightly flushed to bright red. "Oh my... I think I know what this is..." she said with a bit of trepidation. She drew a serrated blade from under the desk, cutting open the bag and holding up its contents. All three people in the lobby stared, Meowlody going so far as to leap on the counter for a closer look, seemingly unheeding of the proximity her barely-clad bottom had to Reader's face.

"Is that a-is that a chastity belt?" Reader asked, confused by the item but aroused by the elf's obvious bashfulness.

"Um, yes" she said, looking as though she wished to hide. "I, um, take it you're not familiar with the custom?"

"I'm not," reader admitted, "Quite new here. What's the significance?"

"Well, you see, when a girl likes a boy and wants to gain his attention, one way of doing that is that she might lock herself in a chastity device and give him the key. It's a way of showing that she's willing to sacrifice for him, and that she thinks he's special and worth waiting for. By having you give me this, Harny was implying that I should, um, wear it for you. If a boy gives a girl a chastity belt it's kind of implied that he wants her to, you know, wear it. "

Reader tried to imagine the logistics of that, coming up with all sorts of valid reasons why it was a bad idea. "What if I get hurt while adventuring and can't make it back? Or I lose the key?" he asked. "And what's considered a proper interval to visit if a guy gives a woman something like this?" he added

"No obligation for you!" the elf protested quickly. "It's meant to alter my behaviour, not yours." She blushed even more deeply, "It's not like I have a horde of suitors beating down my door. It's just a way of guaranteeing that if you visit after a long absence I'll be f- fff-fresh!" she managed to blurt out.

"And the, uh, if I don't manage to visit? Or if you do meet a boy you like better than me while I'm away?" Reader asked, still trying to wrap his mind around the concept, trying to figure out if that appealed to him or not.

"Well - if I was sure you wouldn't come back I'd just have it cut off. And if a boy liked me enough, he could buy the key off you, that happens more than you'd think - but I-" she looked down, a little sadly, "I get the feeling Harny's put you on the spot with something you didn't really know about..."

"Myaster is trying too hard to be syelfless!" Meowlody suddenly declared, spinning around on the counter to face Reader. "Tell Myaster how you'd be with other boys if you were locked up for him, nothing to gain by flirting with them!"

"Oh- well, more confident of course!" Alyza exclaimed, "Knowing that a man's already made me his, even if it would be a while before he uses what's his - I could just -"

"See? Myaster would be doing elfgirl a favour!" Meowlody said, looking smug in her Katsune way.

"Melody, look at me," Reader commanded, and the hotelf reluctantly raised her head, finally managing to make eye contact. "Do you want to put this device on, give me the key, and wait who knows how long until I decide I'd like you to take it off again?"

"So much!" she exclaimed. "Of course! Yes! I'd love to feel my fingers run into it when I'm half asleep and know I need to wait for you for release, but that when it comes I might be blessed! I'd love to know you want me for yourself, no matter how infrequently! I'd be so grateful if you asked me to play this game with you!"
