A Hero's Feast part 2

Diane and Gavin let themselves into the McRose home. They carried a pair of small bags with fruits and vegetables for the salad and dessert that they settled on the kitchen table before Gavin ran off to join Chloe, Holly and Zack in the backyard.

"Diane?" Monica asked her friend seeing the dark circles under her eyes. She walked over to her friend, she tilted her head to check her eyes and started examen her.

"I'm fine." Diane said. brushing her aside. "I just couldn't sleep well last night." Monica tilted her head and looked at her critically.

Charlotte slided up to Diane and put her arm around her and hugged her side. "What happened honey?"

"It's nothing." Diane said "I just had a really bad nightmare and then... then I couldn't fall asleep till this morning."

"Want was it about?" Charlotte said,

"Yeah, tell us. Maybe we can help you out." Monica said.

Diane looked nervously back and forth to her two friends and Kayleigh. "I'll go give the guys a refill" Kayleigh said grabbing a pair of bottles and leaving women alone.

"Tell Roy to bring the papers" Charlotte asked her mother before turning back to Diane. "We got something for you."

"What is it?" Diane asked but even before Charlotte could answer her Roy came into the kitchen with some papers in his hands as if he had just read her mind. "Hi Diane, I saw Gavin and I knew you were here." he hesitated for a moment "I need you to sign these papers."

"What are they?" Diane asked a little confused since she knew she didn't have any legal paperwork to do.

Roy took a deep breath and glanced over at Charlotte for a moment and said, "They make me the legal representative for you and Gavin at the school. This way you won't have to see Wessterhof ever again. And if they try to do anything Gavin to trick you into going.... I'll go and take care of it." Diane looked up at Roy in shock and embarrassment, and then at Monica and Charlotte.

"I already signed it for Zack. I 'm never going to get close to that bastard." Monica said. "Don't worry, I didn't tell Gregory."

Roy put his hands on her shoulder and said, "We won't let him hurt you ever again." Diane practically fell into his arms hugging Roy while he wrapped his arms around her.

Diane buried her head into his chest, tears of gratitude rolled down her cheeks. "Thank you" she softly whispered has she felt the warm embrace of Monica and Charlotte hugging her from behind. "Thank you." Diane repeated and, on an impulse, she stood on her toes and kissed Roy's cheeks before going back to hugging him.

"Now, this will only be temporary." Roy said stroking her hair. Diane looked up at him in confused and surprised. "Just till I get rid of Wessterhof. I just need a month... two at the most and he will be gone forever, I promise you he won't hurt you or anyone else ever again."

Monica, Charlotte and Roy held Diane for a few moments before they broke up, Diane signed the papers and then Roy mentioned he was going to start the fire and teach the boys how to make a real barbeque.

"Now tell us about this nightmare you had." Monica said once Roy had left and so, Diane told the whole terrifying dream that left them both horrified.

"Don't worry Di." Monica said hold Diane on her right side while Charlotte did the same on her left side. "We're always here for you no matter what you need."

"I know." Diane said tearfully. "But you were right Mon. I shouldn't have stayed single so long. I thought I was strong, that I could do it on my own but.... This wouldn't have happened If I had a man. I need..."

"Shhh Honey." Charlotte said. "You are strong. Look what you've done. You paid off the mortgage, paid your way through college, you’re a doctor now and Gavin, nobody could have raised Gavin the way you did on their own. Whatever you need... we're here for you."

"It's not just for Gavin... I need..." Diane stuttered even now not daring to admit her sexual needs to her friends that she loved so dearly.

"Shh Honey." Monica said knowing what Diane didn't want to say. She leaned in and place a soft, chaste, kiss on Diane's lips "We're here for you, just like the other day."

"Yeah, we always stick together. We're sisters." Charlotte whispered to her.

"Yeah, but sisters... sisters don't fuck each other." Diane said.

"Sister-wives do."

"Stop fidgeting." Taylor berated Zack. "You're gonna crimple your clothes."

"Why do I have to dress up like this?" Zack groaned.

"How you dress is how people will treat you." Taylor said softly trying not to attract too much attention. "If you dress like a bum they'll treat you like a bum. If you dress like a VIP they'll treat you as a VIP. Beside..." she added with a mischievous smirk "Girls like a smart dressed man."

"No, they don't" Zack said defensively.

"Oh really?" Taylor said raising her eyebrow. "Look at Dad and Roy. You see them dressed like a slob?" Zack looked over and saw that Roy was wearing smart red polo shirt and his Dad was wearing slacks and a bark green shirt and looked pretty good while he talked to Chloe's grandparents. "You think Mom or Charlotte would go for a slob?"

"But that's different." Zack whined. "Girls don't care what a guy wear. They all like jocks."

"Bullshit." Taylor said. "Peter hooked up with Hannah. Hannah! The hottest girl in school. He's not a jock but he's a winner and he dresses like one. You think Hannah's going to pick a loser?" Zack looked up at her and shook his head. "So, if you want to be like Dad, or Roy, or Damon or maybe even Peter and bang those hot cheerleaders and maybe, maybe someday marry one them, then you better start dressing right."

Zack stopped tugging his shirt while he mulled his sister’s comments. She was right in that his mother, Charlotte, Sarah and Hannah were all beautiful. Their husbands were not only handsome well-dressed men but also that none of them were jocks.

He was still thinking about it when Hannah came running over to hug Taylor. He gulped when she turned to him "My my...Tay" Hannah said running her fingers across the collar of his shirt. "Where did you find this handsome young man?" Hannah saw Zack's face turned bright red and she practically shoved her tits into his face.

"Hannah! Leave him alone!" Taylor hissed.

"What's wrong?" Hannah said with fake surprise. "If I wasn't dating Peter I might make a move on your new toy." She turned back to Zack and winked at him. "Oh, it's Zack!" faking her surprise. "Tay! What did you do to my little Zacky!? Did you dress him up for me or for someone else?” Her sultry voice whispered in his ear making him tense up. "A little birdie told me you were talking to a certain cute blonde the other day. Is she the one or someone else?"

Zack tensed up 'How did she know I like Vicky?' he thought. His mind spinning Zack didn't know what do, wishing the ground would swallow him up Luckily for Zack, Taylor pulled Hannah away before she embarrassed him even more. He breathed a sigh of relief when he suddenly found himself being hugged and praised by Ashley and Sarah before Peter again rescued him and guided him over to the barbeque.

Chloe watched Zack fidgeted with the collar of his shirt, she knew he wanted to wear a t-shirt and shorts like Gavin was wearing. For a moment a brief hint of a smile touched her lips. He looked different today, he looked so awkward it was almost cute. She guessed Taylor had made him wear it the way she kept straightening out his clothes and made him sit up straight. Chloe and Gavin even laughed at him when she tried to tuck his shirt back into his pants and Zack shooed her away to do it himself.

Chloe looked down at what she was wearing, a baggy set of sweatpants and loose hoodie to hid her figure. She briefly remembered how her mother and grandmother had tried to get he to wear something else. they started trying to get to wear a skirt, then shorts, or jean, a tank top, t-shirt... They insisted they she should wear something more feminine and that 'it was time for her to dress like a young lady and not a tomboy.' was what her grandmother said.

They just didn't understand. She wished she was beautiful like her mother and grandmother and they kept telling her that she was pretty and that she would be beautiful once she fully developed but she knew it wasn't true. They were just saying that didn't want to hurt her feelings, just like Zack had done the other day. Everyone at school said she looked like some twisted, weird, lumpy monster, she hated her pimples, hated her freckles, and she especially hated her giant breast. She wished they were smaller like Taylor's or Ashley's or any of her other friends. 'If I had smaller tits maybe I could dress like Taylor' she thought looking over at the model like brunette she admired and sometimes wished was her sister.

A commotion brought her out of her thought and she saw Hannah running into her back yard to hug Taylor with Peter and the Woodsen family following her. They all came over to congratulate Chloe and Zack and Gavin on sticking together. Chloe even thanked Ashley for helping her cover up her the other day to which Ashley just brushed away saying it was no big deal since 'we girls have to watch out for each other'.

They were still greeting each other when her father came out of the house with giant covered tray. "All right kids come over here. I'm going to teach you how to make a real barbeque with real wood. Not that gas or coal garbage they've been feeding you. Makes the meat taste like tar and charcoal, that's why they always have to add all that barbeque sauce just to get rid of the tar. This will bring out the real flavor in the meat... Next time you go camping you can show the others how it's really done."

For the next two hours Roy regaled the kids on how to build the fire, what wood was better to cook over an open fire or to use as coals and then how to slowly cook the meat until it was just the right golden brown and the smell was just mouth-watering.

Just before everyone sat down to eat Roy called all the kids over. Roy gave them a small speech about the value of Friendship, Courage, and Loyalty. He then pulled out three small wooden boxes that Chloe recognized as the ones her grandfather had brought yesterday. He gave one each to Chloe, Gavin and Zack. When they opened it, they saw that each box had a small 7-inch broad bladed knife with a black handle and black scabbard.

"These are called 'Sgian Dubh'. They were the first real knife or dagger a Celt warrior would get when grew up." Roy said "They would use it every day to cut their meat, slice an apple, skin a deer and anything else they needed. They would always carry it with them till the day the died. And they are perfect to make the first cut on this barbeque."

When it was finally done everyone sat down and enjoyed the barbeque Roy had cooked along with backed potatoes, salads, fresh baked cornbread, and more food than they could ever finish. Zack, Gavin and Chloe used their new knives that day and really enjoyed themselves. Lunch dragged on late into the afternoon until it was time for more tea and coffee until eventually everyone headed back home.

Hannah and Taylor sat next to each other while they listened to the older women talk. Hannah's hand kept brushing Taylor's leg and tried to take her hand while Taylor kept trying to brush it away until she gave up and took her hand.

"Knock it off Han!" Taylor said leaning over and keeping her voice low. "What are you trying to do?"

"Jeeze Tay, Lighten up will you." Hannah said brushing off Taylor's concern. "It’s no big deal. We do it all the time in the squad. You know, you really need to get laid."

"I got laid yesterday remember." Taylor snapped back.

"And he did a piss poor job at it." Hannah said. "I bet I did a better job getting you off the other day, right?" Hannah saw Taylor blush and look away. "You really should stop dating those jocks. They all think they're doing us a favor when they fuck us. Absolutely no imagination. The only good thing they can do it pick us up and fuck us against the wall if we teach them how to do it. Which reminds me we have to get Peter to work out some more so he can do that to me."

"And why do I have to help you do that?" Taylor asked.

"So you can ask Peter to take Zack with him to the gym so Zack can do the same for Ashley. I don't want her to miss out on the experience." Hannah said.

"Leave them alone, beside I thought you wanted Ashley to hook up with Logan."

"Logan is my second choice." Hannah said.

They were silent for a few moments before Hannah leaned over and whispered. "Did you think about it?"

"About what?" Taylor said.

"You know, what I said yesterday?" Hannah whispered "What we did the other day with Little Mike..." Hannah saw Taylor's eyes go wide open. "but we do it with Grant, maybe then he can really get you off."

"Are you fucking crazy?" Taylor hissed. "How can you think about cheating on Peter!"

"Yeah you're right, it's a stupid idea." Hannah mulled for a moment.

"Damm right it is." Taylor said sensing she won over Hannah.

"We should do it with Peter." Hannah said.

"I... did not just hear you just say that." Taylor said. She was so surprised that her words barely came out.

"C'mon. Don't tell me you never thought about taking him for a ride." Hannah said "He has the perfect pussy pleaser you know. I bet I can really make you relax."

"What the fuck is wrong with you!" Taylor said.

"Jeez Tay, what's wrong with you? I just want my best friend to have a nice little orgasm or two." Hannah whispered in her ear. "But... If it makes you feel better, I could join you."

"NO!" Taylor started raising her voice before she caught herself "No way. He's your boyfriend!" Taylor said.

Hannah waited a few moments before she leaned in and whispered "He really does have the perfect pussy pleaser."

"Oh God you incorrigible." Taylor said hiding her head in her hands.

"Aaawww, I love you too." Hannah said hugging her friend. "C'mon let’s go before they start feeding us again." Hannah, Taylor, Peter and Grant stood up and said their goodbyes to everyone.
