A Good Time

We get out of the car and I look around. I see we're at some kind of factory. I see a security guard walking up to us.

"Who are you?" He asks calmly, I assume he's just worried about people he doesn't recognize showing up.

"Sorry to disturb you, we're here to inspect the facilities." Scott says while handing the guard some papers. He looks them over and nods before handing them back.

"Do you want me to show you around?" The guard asks and Scott smiles before shaking his head no.

"Thanks but I don't want to keep you from your job any longer than I already have." He says and the guard smiles and nods before leaving. We walk to the entrance and I look at Scott.

"What was that?" I ask him.

"Just in case Dungeons appear at places like these, the Government gives us these papers. We have a lot of them but they basically let us pose as an inspector doing a random inspection. This way we can get into Dungeons inside certain places before the monsters start to leak out." He answers and I nod. We walk inside and Scott leads us through the factory. He looks down at a phone in his hands with an odd screen. We find the Dungeon in a storage room. "We got lucky that it's somewhere private." Scott says and I nod before swapping to my armor.

"I wish it was that easy for me to change." Myla says and I smile.

"Are you three ready?" Scott asks us. We all nod and enter the Dungeon. I look around and see the same factory, but in burning ruins. I see the factory building around us has crashed and burned. It looks like a massive explosion occurred here. We leave the ruined room we were in and start looking around. We quickly find our first Fire Elemental. It's alone and seems to be wandering through a large empty room. I quickly Observe it and tell the girls what I read.

Fire Elemental Lvl 30, Title: Keeper Of Fire, Class: Fire Master, RP: -201, Hearts: 0, Weak: Water, Ice

HP: 3200/3200 MP: 2000/2000

"Let me see your weapons, I'll enhance them." Hino says and Myla raises her sword.

"Don't do mine," I say sheathing my katana and holding my Dagger. It's still emitting the faint mist like before.

"Why not?" Myla asks me.

"I can go into more detail later. But this Dagger deals Frost damage. And I noticed during my fight earlier that I need more practice with it. My body knows the moves thanks to my powers. But knowing them and mastering them are a long way apart. And since this Dungeon is full of monsters weak to Ice, I figure it's a good place to do so." I say and she nods. I cast Ancient Beastial Strength while taking my horns, claws, and boots out. We decide to attack the Elemental without magic. We want to see what kind of attacks it'll use since it's alone. We start running at it and it turns around immediately. I run ahead of the other two and cut along its chest as I run past it.

The Elemental turns to me and Hino uses the opportunity to punch its exposed back.

I look at the Elemental fall, a little surprised, and store the material it dropped away.

"Are Elementals normally this easy to kill?" I ask the girls.

"Sometimes. It depends on your strategies. Using an Elemental's weakness makes them a cakewalk since they're weak up close. They specialize in ranged magic so in a melee fight they're weak. It just depends if you can get up close without getting hit." Myla answers and I nod. We continue walking through the rubble. We quickly find a group of three Elementals. They're all in the middle of a large exposed room.

"Any plans? I doubt we could fight these three without getting injured. In fact, just getting to them would be difficult." Hino says and I look at them.

"I could take one of them out with magic. But I'm not fully recovered from my fight earlier. So I won't be able to use much more magic afterward." I say and they think.

"No, I'll attack the one closest to us. But it won't finish it off, you can take care of it then. That way you'll save a little magic." Hino says and I nod. She crouches down on the edge of the small destroyed wall we're behind. She points her palm to the Elements and water starts surrounding her arm. It starts off small, but quickly envelops her arm and extends from her palm. It forms into a fish's upper body, with sharp shark-like teeth, a few inches from her palm. The fish then shoots from her palm after forming its lower half. It charges into the closest Elemental and bites down on its arm. It tried to block by raising its arms after noticing the attack.

I stand up and cast Icicle Lance using my Dagger.

Common Material Drop

I duck back down as two balls of fire get shot my way. As soon as they pass I remember something that makes me feel stupid. I stand back up and vault myself over the wall. I start charging the two remaining Elementals while they shoot more fire at me. The fireballs hit me and burn out but don't deal any damage thanks to my Fire Immunity skill. I reach the first Elemental and cut along its side.

I go to cut it again but see Myla about to attack. I step back and turn to the other Elemental.

I cut the remaining Elemental on its chest before jamming my blade into its side.

I store the three drops away and turn to the girls.

"I kind of forgot about your Fire Immunity." Hino says and I sigh.

"Yeah, I might've too." I say causing her and Myla to laugh. I smile and we continue exploring. We end up having to change directions a few times when the halls or doors become blocked with rubble and debris. We slay ten more Elementals. Fortunately, they weren't in any more groups of three. But they weren't alone, always showing up in groups of two. I get 20000 Exp, 12927$, six Common drops, and four Rare drops, all of them being materials. We find the boss outside the factory in a large field of burning rubble and debris.
