A Fortunate Run-In

They all turned as an ATV roared into the clearing.

"Everything okay?" Ranger Raz asked, removing his helmet.

"Yeah," the blonde answered quickly. "She fell and we were trying to help her out, but I guess we'll leave that to you."

"Yeah, hope you get back okay," the redhead added starting to extend his hand to her before being jabbed by his friend. "I'm sorry," the redhead mouthed to her, looking at her apologetically. They then both turned to leave. She noticed that the dark haired boy was already gone.

"Here, let me fix that up for you," Raz said, pointing at her knee. He put his hands around her waist and lifted her onto the ATV, then grabbed a first aid kit out of his gear. he opened it, pulling out a fe items and a pair of gloves. Unlike a few moments ago, being lifted up this time left her feeling safe and...

"Sorry, this is going to burn a little," he said, placing her leg under one arm then using his other hand to wipe the scrape with a pad. Makayla let out a little yelp and tensed up tilting her head back. Raz looked up and couldn't help but notice her perky breasts pushing against her t-shirt. He thought of how quietly beautiful she was compared to Gaby's more raw sexuality. He then thought of Alex.

"So I get to rescue both you and your boyfriend in the same day? Not my usual work shift."

"Uh yeah, I guess," she responded, not really wanting to share the later events. "How..."

"Yeah..." she responded. Her mind started to drift but she was brought back to reality as she felt his hands running down her leg, washing it off. She wondered hat his fingers would feel like without that cold latex covering them.

"Where is he? Didn't want to be rescued himself again? Though I suppose if he was here you wouldn't have needed me."

"Yeah," she said even more sad than before.

Raz immediately regretted his words as it wasn't his goal to try and drive a wedge between them.

"Heck of a guy he is." Raz quickly jumped in, "found my cabin, got a fire started... slept on the couch," he added with emphasis. He placed a bandage on the scrape. "There you go all fixed up, ready to hike home."

Makayla looked at him, confused.

"I'm just kidding, of course I'll give you a ride." He cleaned up the towelettes and placed them in a bag, then placed that and the kit in his pack. He handed her a spare helmet. "I hate to mess up your pretty hair, but better than messing up that pretty head." Makayla blushed and put on the helmet.

Jumping onto the ATV in front of her, he told her to hold on tight. She cautiously placed her hands on his sides. But as the vehicle started to move she wrapped her arms around him tight, pressing her body against his. She closed her eyes.
