A Few Months Later...

Indira Chaudhari spent the next few months getting new pets into the Community and preparing the breeding program for its imminent start. She had also been working on her Retreat project which was looking to launch within the next year. With Lexi at her side, Ms. Chaudhari sat in her basement office as she looked over monitors, watching the fresh batch of pets get accustomed to the new homes. She was proud of the success she'd been having in convincing others in the Community to adopt a pet and she had Lexi to thank for showing them an example of how great a pet could be.

Lexi found herself content with living life as the Chaudhari Family's pet. She still found the idea of the rich using the **** people as cattle to be disturbing, but she couldn't deny that her life was now better than when she was trying to make it on her own. Lexi was now the poster child for the pets in the Community, her face is on billboards throughout the district and she travels with Ms. Chaudhari to help convince those skeptical of the program that it is to their benefit. Lexi had also been spending quite a bit of time with Sasha as her affection for the girl grew.

Sasha had recently began working on Mary Jo's farm at her mother's request. She was told by her mother that the farm was the perfect location for the breeding program and that Sasha's work on the farm could pave the way to convince Mary Jo into allowing the program's presence. Sasha found the work exhausting, but enjoyed being around the cattle and she had also found Mary Jo herself was actually fun to hang out with. She had begun to forget all about her grudge against the farm girl who tried to get with her behind Kiran's back.

Kiran's discomfort with the growing Pet Project had him move out of the house and away from the Community. He quickly found a new girlfriend and moved in with her. He enjoyed spending time with his new sweetheart, but there were lingering, intrusive thoughts in the back of his mind. When having sex with his girlfriend, he couldn't help but imagine putting a collar around her neck and treating her like his own personal pet. He tried to suppress the thoughts, but normal sex had started to become mundane and he was beginning to have trouble getting aroused by everyday intimacy.
