Chapter 5

What's next?
A Day of Rest
For once, Lyla wasn't woken up by the sounds of Gwen waking them up. Rather Miss Glynn and Gwen talking. "Is it like this every morning?"
"She struggles to sleep in the bed," Gwen answered, as Lyla slowly woke up. "Um, mind if I ask why you're here so early in the morning?"
"I wanted to tell you girls that you don't need to worry about breakfast. And only worry about showering if you feel you need it." Miss Glynn answered.
Lyla sat up, stretching "Really? What about breakfast, though?"
Miss Glynn smiled "Mr. Clayton recommended a more informal morning. So Miss Sanders and I have a pot of porridge and fresh fruit ready."
Gwen got out of her bed, wearing only her tank top and pink panties, and bowed to Miss Glynn "Thank you for the generosity."
Miss Glynn nodded back "Don't get used to it, Gwen, but let Miss Yates sleep in if you can."
Lyla laughed "She'd love that."
Breakfast was actually pretty fun that morning. The seating arrangements were not enforced, they even got to sit with who they wanted. It was actually fun, chatting with everyone and eating so casually.
"So, are we planning a rematch today?" Mr. Clayton joked "Because I feel the 3v3 structure doesn't suit our skill levels around here."
Mr. Josiah, the grounds keeper, laughed "Mr. Clayton, the way you play we could go 4v2 and it still wouldn't make a difference."
Almost everyone started laughing. Lyla was the exception. "Ya know, iffin' the girls had access to our tennies and shorts we could fill in as well. Ya can't tell me The Boss doesn't play."
Arthur turned to Gwen, who was seated right next to him with Moyra across the table from them, "Do you play football?"
Gwen laughed "As much as anyone else who went to public school does. I know the rules and have fair ball control, but that that's about it."
Mr. Clayton seemed amused but was clearly not going to touch that one. "What are you girls planning today?"
Gwen placed a strawberry in Moyra's bowl as she answered "Relax as best we can. We're still responsible for lunch and dinner, so..."
Izzy spoke out "I were thinking about that. We have everything we need, why not let us do a cookout? As much as I enjoy Lyla's cooking, they could use a break."
"That does sound fun." Mr. Clayton thought out loud.
"Mr. Clayton!" Miss Glynn protested.
"I approve of this plan!" Mr. Clayton filled in, with a smile.
Gwen sat back, unaware that a sleepy looking Iona was walking in behind her "With all this free time I'd like to get some work done on The Chapel." She glanced at Arthur "If I get you a list of things that need to be repaired in there, could you make that happen some time?"
"I could look into it." Arthur said.
"Arthur!!!" Iona called out, having heard the whole thing. "Do something, Gwen's going to work through her entire day off!"
Lyla had to agree "Boss, ya can't just spend your entire day in there!"
"I feel like I'm making no progress just working on it an hour a day." Gwen protested.
Iona raced up to Gwen, placing her hands on the redhead's shoulders "Miss Barden, please. You need to relax as much as we do. I'm worried for your health." Moyra put her spoon down, and gave Gwen a salute.
Arthur looked introspective at first, but eventually spoke up "How about, I help you in your chapel until lunch? That way you can make more progress. Then after lunch you promise to spend some quality time with your girls?"
Iona hugged Gwen from behind "We accept! It's not my favorite idea, but it's better than nothing!"
"Don't I get a say in this?" Gwen asked, laughing a little.
"I will be willing to help as well, Miss Barden." Moyra added, "Just tell me what to do."
After breakfast, Lyla and Iona planned to go for a walk; after all it had stopped raining and they could use the fresh air. They were just about to step outside when Thomas and Izzy walked up to them. Thomas smiled "Mind if we join you?"
Iona clearly didn't know how to respond, so Lyla answered for her "Oh, she'd LOVE to take a walk with you, Mr. Abernathy." Iona blushed a little at this, which tickled Lyla a bit.
"Then let's get going. Daylight's a wasting!" Izzy said, placing a hand on Lyla's far shoulder.
Lyla wasn't sure how she felt about Izzy. He wasn't bad to look at, especially considering the last lad she slept with, but wasn't especially handsome either. He was about her father's height, shaggy hair, crystal blue eyes, and was clearly strong from the way his arm felt draped over her. His accent was a slice of home, having had grown up surrounded by at least a dozen lads all of whom spoke the same way he did. The fact that he was constantly molesting her was conflicting. Part of her liked the fact that he was clearly interested, especially with both Lyla and Moyra being so easily over shadowed by Iona's good looks, and Gwen's personality. But, she hated that he didn't ask, and it bothered her that they were basically paired off from the start. They sat across from each other at their assigned seats. Whenever the boys and girls were paired off, he was her assigned partner. It bothered Lyla to be told what to do, and this was a little beyond even that. Lyla never shook the feeling that The Administrators had paired them off, like this was bloody Noah's Ark or something.
Iona did seem to be having a good time though. Lyla was sure she had feelings for Thomas, beyond what the shy lass was willing to admit. It was confusing to Lyla how such a drop dead beauty of a woman could be so shy, but it was cute and Lyla couldn't help but love her new friend.
As they walked and talked, Lyla over heard Iona ask Thomas "Do you think Moyra's wolf is really out there?"
Thomas took her hand. "I trust Arthur, and he said it was out just outside the light."
"What are The Administrators doing about it?" Iona asked, leaning into the large lad.
"A fat lot o' nothing." Izzy groaned, pulling Lyla in closer, his hand still on her shoulder. At least for now.
"But what if it's dangerous?" Iona complained.
"Arthur mentioned us possibly changing things up. It seems afraid of the light, so maybe we'll just take the rubbish out in the mornings from now on." Thomas stated, as if just spitballing.
"If it's afraid of the light, that wouldn't be a bad..." Lyla started before stopping dead in her tracks "Izzy, where do you think that hand is going?"
Izzy jumped back, hands in the air "Sorry love! Forgot my place again!"
"Did he grab your butt again?" Iona groaned.
"Higher... softer." Lyla explained.
Thomas groaned "Izzy, you'd better be more careful. Arthur gave Gwen permission to cane us if we get to handsy."
"I wouldn't mind taking a cane to your backside me self." Lyla teased.
Izzy's hands handed on Lyla's hips, making her heart beat faster. "I'd be worth getting a punch by you again, to get a chance to see your panties, and give that soft rump of yours a few taps."
Lyla could feel herself blushing and her heart racing. Was he hitting on her, or just being cute? Suddenly Thomas spoke "Those two have such a strange relationship..."
"Agreed." Iona smiled back.
Arthur inspect the feet of one of the benches "I see the problem, should be fairly simple." He lowered the bench and nodded at Moyra who put her pen to a clipboard they borrowed from Miss Glynn. "Just add foot fabrication to that one Moyra."
"Yes Sir, Mr. Campbell." She said, writing something down.
Gwen wasn't sure how she felt about the added help today. She was still having wet dreams about the pair who had volunteered to help, and Moyra's manner of response made her seem like a maid or secretary, which for some reason made her sexier in Gwen's mind. But, love it or hate it, she had the help.
Arthur dusted himself off and looked around "Anything else, Gwen?"
Gwen looked around "The only other thing is a ladder. I can't reach those windows without one."
"Denied." Arthur added bluntly "I'm not letting you crawl up there to wash windows on a rickety ladder. Not without help."
Gwen felt a little insulted "They need to be cleaned, Arthur."
"You'll need supervision, at least Gwen. It could be dangerous." Arthur was standing his ground, and the look in his eyes told her he was serious.
"Then get me the supervision. Moyra add it to the list." Gwen wasn't giving up.
Moyra saluted "Yes Ma'am!"
"Moyra don't add it to the list!" Moyra paused, and gave a confused look "I've got concerns about your safety, Gwen."
"Moyra, add it to the list!" Gwen glared at him "Then protect me as I wash the windows, Mr. Campbell." Moyra wrote something down. Gwen sighed before looking around "Moyra, make sure you note that I want that broken floor stone leveled, not replaced. I just don't want people to keep tripping on it like I do."
"Yes, Miss Barden." Moyra added, the sound of her calling out making Gwen more eager for some personal time.
Arthur sighed and took a step back. "Is that everything?" Gwen just nodded at him. "Good. Now what can we do to make you relax?"
Gwen was taken off guard by that "Pardon...?"
Moyra saluted "If you can make her relax, I will do anything you ask of me, Mr. Campbell!"
Arthur laughed a little "Now, who could turn down an offer like that?" He smiled at Gwen. A look that seemed to say, 'I'm amused but serious.' "Now, Miss Barden, how do we get you to relax?"
Gwen's heart raced, and she was having trouble thinking clearly. The last three nights running she had dreams of making love to both of them. If she was stressed it was because she didn't have a dildo, vibrator, or even access to the privacy she needed to take care of it. She looked about The Chapel, feeling put on the spot. "I..."
