A Blood Red Gem

Within the cloth is a large spherical dark red gem. It's surface is perfectly polished to the point you can see your reflection in it.

"So...what is it exactly?" Celeste scrunches her face in response.

"To be honest I'm not entirely sure. But it has incredible magical power, it has a similar feeling to that vampire." You and Allegra give her a shocked look in response. "Oh, but it's more contained! It's not dangerous, at least not like this. I'll need time to study it but I should be able to use it to affect the vampires if I use it right, I'm sure of it."

"Yeah well, study it tomorrow. We all need a little sleep." Celeste yawns as she nods, hearing her yawn makes your eyes feel heavy too. You stretch before you get up, giving Allegra and Celeste time to leave. As you go to leave the gem catches your eye and you walk over to it. You stare into the gem again, into your reflection. You imagine what you could do with the gem if it was as powerful as Celeste claimed, could you defeat Jenny? Could you save her? Your reflection almost seems to beckon you...
