Once healed, after undergoing a ritual where they dress you in ceremonial garments suited for the task, you're taken to a swamp. They apply special ointments to your body designed to lure the hydra directly to you.

In the swamp, they leave you alone, instructing you to proceed on your own from there.

You pretend to advance just far enough to lose sight of your escorts, then you take a detour to escape.

No one seems to follow. By luck, you avoid encountering the hydra entirely, and you eventually emerge from the marsh. The terrain gradually turns, greener with increasing vegetation and fertile soil. Soon you spot fruit-bearing trees and crystal-clear springs.

It seems an ideal place to live peacefully. With no sense of where civilization might lie, you resolve to gather resources and improvise shelter.
While searching, you discover a deep cave. Cautiously entering to inspect it, you find no occupants, just a dry, spacious chamber perfect for habitation.

You collect wood and stones for a fire, pile leaves into a makeshift bed, and settle in to sleep.

Midnight brings rustling sounds. Too late, you wake to find green-skinned creatures, long-limbed, with boar-like heads and enormous ears. They loop a rope around your neck and drag you to their den.

There, they take turns violating you for hours. Initial resistance proves futile against their numbers and strength. Eventually, you stop fighting back.

Exhausted and broken, you lack even the energy to notice the spiked club swinging toward your skull, until one brutal impact extinguishes your consciousness forever.
