8. You’re fine but Lydia isn’t

Price charges ahead, “Lydia, you’re better than this.” He walks over and pulls his daughter to her feet by her hair.

“Daddy! Wait, I–”

“I don’t want to hear it. We’re going home.” He turns to you, “I’m sorry about this, she should know better.”

He practically drags her from the locker room. You and Ivo both release a breath you didn’t realize you’d been holding. If he’s happy to blame his daughter for being on her knees, that’s fine with the two of you. You look at Ivo and see a silent agreement form. You won’t interfere with his lechery and he won’t interfere with yours.

You look at your watch. There are still a few more hours left in your chaperoning gig. Plenty of time to address your blue balls if you want to.
