8. Irene is also chaperoning

As you reenter the gym, you see Irene standing next to the snacks table. You really enjoyed her performance review this morning and absolutely could stand to review her again. You sidle over to her casually.

“How’s the snack table?”

“Boring.” She laughs, “but that’s fine. Better than trying to keep the kids apart on the dance floor.”

“I can think of something more fun.” You let the meaning hang in the air.

“Oh yeah?” Irene picks it up smoothly.

“Meet me in the away team locker room and we’ll see.” You wink and walk away, confident she’ll follow.
