6. Even the vegetation of the forest wants her

At first, everything seems peaceful. Annake awakes from her trance fully rested and refreshed and crawls out of her bedroll to break camp. As she knees, re-rolling her bedding, something tickles at her foot. She kicks it away, only for it to tickle her again, this time curling around her bare ankle.

Annake’s eyes go wide. She quickly whips her head around to look over her shoulder to see what could possibly be attempting to ensnare her. A thick, green vine has found its way into her camp and is beginning to snake its way up her leg.
