5 The Giant
This is the sequel to “4 The Idol”, but can also be read on its own.
Sister Dorothee felt as if she had woken from a bad dream. Oh, if only it had been a dream. But it was a bitter reality. Looking around, she recognized the dark vault deep beneath the convent into which she had climbed down in order to find a way out of her misery. She had hoped to save her community from ruin. Instead, she had led her young co-sister to ruin.
Innocenza, who had only recently taken her vows, lay on the stone pedestal in the middle of the chamber, naked, abused and obscenely displayed. She had been as innocent as a lamb. And like a lamb, she had sacrificed herself. Had given herself to the demon. Now she was defiled, dishonored. And lost forever.
Dorothee only had to look at the ghostly apparitions that surrounded the fallen nun who looked down on her with sad, understanding eyes to realize what the fate of her fellow sister would be. She would be trapped here with the demon forever, subjected to his desires and his assaults. He would satisfy his lust for her, ravish her, over and over again. Until she would conceive and carry his offspring. The bodies of her predecessors, marked by pregnancy, made this abundantly clear.
As celleress, Dorothee was responsible for the economic well-being of the monastery. This was no light burden. But she bore it humbly and with her own sense of responsibility. However, the imbalance between income and expenditure was so blatant that she despaired at her task. The ancient parchment that fell into her hands as if by chance while she was searching the archives for solutions to how her predecessors had dealt with the problem had seemed like a lucky coincidence. A twist of fate, an easy way out. But it had been nothing but a trap.
The obvious fact that she was not the first to fall for the temptation gave her no comfort. All her predecessors had made the same mistake. And they had sacrificed themselves and given in to the demon in order to save the order.
Only she herself had remained steadfast, had resisted the temptations of the fiend. Sister Dorothee laughed bitterly. At what cost? The soul of her young sister in faith was lost. This guilt would weigh on her conscience forever.
Furious and filled with an inner fire, she stared at the giant fiend towering in front of her. Kneeling, she looked up at him and tried to ignore the way he shamelessly displayed his manhood. He hadn't bothered to put his loincloth back on after taking Innocenza. And his unholy strength and stamina was abundantly visible, protruding proudly and vulgarly before him. He was ready and able to do **** to any woman, continuously and repeatedly. Nothing could stop him.
Nothing except Dorothee's firm belief and indomitable will. She clenched her fists and straightened up. Serious and determined, she looked into his eyes, which glittered with amusement. He was obviously entertained by the idea that a small, weak human believed she could stand up to him. This thought only increased Dorothee's determination.
“Get thee hence, demon!” she hurled at him, ”I will never give in to you. Go back to the hell that spat you out and release my fellow sisters!”
His mighty laughter echoed through the vault and rang in her ears.
“Oh, you don't see it yet,” he says with a chuckle, ”Your predecessors gave themselves to me willingly. But you think you have resisted and can stop me. But in truth, you have given me the key to your downfall.”
Sister Dorothee shook her head. What was he rambling on about? All lies and insidiousness. After all, that was the nature of demons.
But then she realized it, understood her mistake. And she felt cold as ice.
