The palace of Órns Kingdom grew heavy with Lilith's presence as she carried her husband in her strong arms, striding purposefully towards the kings bed chambers with her jaw clenched. On her way there, she crossed paths with the Órnish lamia queen, Queen Qia herself. She clutched Julian closer and greeted her sister-wife in a low voice.
"We have much to discuss, but not now... Julian is in a precarious situation... he is... evolving..."
Was all the succubi queen could manage to relay in the moment.
Queen Qia had worry written all over her face, especially with the odd news that's been spreading across the kingdom.
"Take him to the castle..."
She hissed under her breath in her paused moment, Queen Qia's guards were on stand-by as their envoy were on their way to the academy of Ad Laera. Her worried red eyes hovered over Julian, then over at the guards.
"I'll come with... guards, continue on to Ad Laera to investigate what happened. I shall be safe, just go."
Qia ordered her soldiers, her gaze meeting Lilith's. They certainly had much to discuss, but their king needed them most through his dire time.
Lilith's eyes locked onto Queen Qia's, a flicker of understanding passing between them. She nodded curtly, her grip on Julian tightening as she strode towards the castle, Queen Qia falling into step beside her. The guards bowed, their faces set with determination, before turning to depart for Ad Laera. The castle's corridors seemed to grow darker, the shadows deepening as Queen Lilith paced along side the snake queen.
Julian's brows furrowed in discomfort once he was lowered onto his bed, the clothing he wore now drenched in sweat and his body feverishly clammy. A string of inaudible words and verses escaped from his lips as both his wives tended to him, undressing him and sponging off the sweat from his body in turns - all in hopes of bringing his fever down.
"He's gotten much taller... his complexion resembles the moon itself now as well..."
Queen Qia sighed softly, sitting on one side of their husband's bed and gently combing his hair back from his face, revealing the new shape of his slender pointed ears as well.
Lilith's eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed on Julian's face as she gently sponged his forehead, her touch tender.
"His transformation is... accelerated."
She murmured, her voice low and concerned.
"The celestial realms effects are still unpredictable, and now... this."
She glanced at Queen Qia, her expression grim.
"We must be prepared for any outcome. His body is changing, and we don't know what the final result will be."
Julian's body seized periodically every third of an hour, straining the muscles and nerves of his shot nervous system. His body burned like a raging inferno and he found himself reliving jumbled memories of several different lives his soul had traversed.
"Roll him over."
Julian hardly made out the muffled orders between his both wives as they pulled him onto his stomach and exposed his rippling back. Painful groans and heavy breaths began to escape his lips as the flesh grotesquely bubbled and strained before bulging and beginning to split the flesh of his shoulder blades apart.
Lilith's hands were steady, but her voice was laced with concern as she helped Queen Qia hold Julian down, trying to keep him still as his body convulsed.
"It's happening."
She muttered, her eyes fixed on the bulging flesh.
"His wings are emerging."
Queen Qia's face was set in a grim expression, her hands gentle but firm as she helped restrain Julian, her eyes fixed on the horrific sight of his skin splitting apart.
Julian's eyes snapped open - the green hue he was born with rapidly fading into milk white orbs near identical in shade to his succubus wife's.
"...momma..."
He cried out desperately into his pillows, his shoulder blades ripping further as the bone structure of the wings shot out first, rapidly getting covered by muscles, flesh and obsidian black feathers. His body trembled and slumped into the bed, eyes drooping as Queen Qia gently began to comb away the residue blood from his new wing feathers with a soft brush and basin of lavender herb water.
Lilith's expression softened, her voice a gentle whisper as she stroked Julian's hair, her milk-white eyes filled with a deep affection.
"We're here, Julian. You're safe."
She leaned forward, her lips brushing against his ear, her voice a soothing melody.
"You're changing, my love. Becoming something more."
Queen Qia's hands moved with a quiet reverence, her eyes fixed on the black feathers as she gently cleaned them, her touch a calming balm to Julian's battered body.
Julian faded into unconciousness, crimson blood beginning to flow out of his nostrils, mouth, eyes and ears. The blood of mortality being replaced by the golden ichor of the gods. His body pulsed with power. A wavelength of godly aura slamming into his wives at full **** and nearly crippling them to their knees just being in his presence.
Lilith's eyes widened, her body hunching over slightly as she struggled to remain upright, the intense aura overwhelming her. Queen Qia swayed as well, her hands grasping for the bedframe to steady herself, her face pale. The air seemed to vibrate with Julian's power, the golden ichor infusing his body with an otherworldly energy. The room grew brighter, as if the very presence of the divine was illuminating the space, and the both wives' breathing slowed, their eyes fixed on Julian's transformed body in a mix of awe and trepidation.
His flesh rippled, all of the elvish breeding markings burning off only to be replaced by the runic script of the deitys - tattooing across his shoulders, arms and chest.
Lilith's gaze followed the runes as they etched themselves into Julian's skin, her eyes tracing the intricate patterns. Queen Qia's face was a mask of wonder, her voice barely above a whisper.
"The markings of the Divine... he's being reborn as a vessel."
The air seemed to thicken, the aura emanating from Julian growing stronger, as if the very fabric of reality was being reshaped by his transformation.
"No. Not a vessel."
Lilith smirked.
"A god."

Julian Wolflace: Why Did I Even Get Reincarnated?

He opens his eyes to find himself being swaddled and handed to a sweaty but beautiful woman, who smiles weakly and whispers to him. "Welcome to the world, my little one." A rugged man with a strong jawline and tired eyes looks on, standing in a small, dimly lit bedroom with wooden beams and a thatched roof. The babe's small hands grasp the woman's finger, and he lets out a faint cry as he takes in the unfamiliar surroundings. The woman, Kuina, gently traced his hand, her kind blue eyes locking onto his as she whispered affectingly. "Hello... Julian..."
