Chapter 13 by Zeebop Zeebop

When and how does Sue Storm come back to herself?

2 Years Later

The time platform lowered and vanished.

For a long time, Sue Storm was ****. Her body processed the overload of foreign biological chemicals that had flooded her system.

Then rain, warm and greasy, struck her face.

Sue Storm coughed. Pig-man jizz spat out from her lungs. She sucked in air that smelled stale, burnt, metallic. Her eyes fluttered open...to find herself in a ruined building, beneath an open sky.

Her head ached. Gingerly, she picked herself up. There was no sign of Porkum. No sign of anyone. A layer of dust and grim covered the ruin. Gingerly, the Invisible Woman rose to her feet, and invisible exoskeleton around her still-wounded left leg. She moved, still bewildered, an invisible umbrella over her head holding away the rain.

She rose into the air on a column of invisible ****.

And beheld the ruin of New York City.

The Invisible Woman had seen more than her fair share of apocalyptic futures. She noted no plumes of smoke from cook-fires, the lack of electrical lights, the lack of movement of any kind. The city was dark and eerily silent. Not even the sound of a dog, a coyote or pigeon. No cars moved on the streets. Most of the sky-scrapers had fallen; the only ones she could make out fairly intact were Avengers Tower and the Baxter Building, their outlines familiar, if dark and forbidding. Grass grew up in cracks in the street, but she didn't see any trees, and the abandoned vehicles were mostly free of rust. This was relatively recent, then. A couple years at most.

She considered what had happened. Some kind of Rip Van Winkle effect? Sue looked at her palms. There were no new lines, no signs of growth on the nails. If she was asleep, it was true suspended animation, and there was no equipment in sight that could do that.

Which left what? Time travel. A parallel world. Or possibly this was all a complex simulation, and she was asleep in a villain's lab. All three options seemed far beyond Porkum's capabilities, which meant he had to have help. High-tech help. Sue knew few villains with access to time travel technology—Kang, Immortus, Doctor Doom. Her mouth was **** into a thin line. None of them were foes she'd want to face on her own.

Sue's head ached as she processed all this. It felt like someone drilling into her skull. The world's worst hangover. Worse, she could feel the craving in her body. She wanted more of Porkum's addictive cum. Her body screamed at her for more of that disgusting jizz. The memory of her surrender and defeat was more painful than waking up, cold and alone, in this strangely abandoned future.

"Need to make a choice," she decided, as she measured the distance between herself and the two towers. The Baxter Building was marginally closer—but if this was a simulation, she would be expected to go there. Could be a trap. Then again, she only had reserve status at Avengers Tower. If any of the security systems were still online, that might not be enough to get her in.

Where does Sue Storm go?
