2 Truths and a Lie

They moved the half-circle couch a bit closer to the large table in the center and spread it around so that it formed more of a full circle. All got comfy on the large couch, with plenty of room for everyone. From the twelve o’clock position going clockwise, the order was: Mary, Merida, Allie, Sam, Ellen, Flora, Chloe, Aubrey, Talia, Laura, Hilde, Freya.

“Mary, I had an idea I wasn’t going to suggest it, but since we removed the no sexual stuff rule, I’d now like to suggest it.”

“Okay… but realize that I’m already leaning towards no.”

“Fair enough. I was thinking you could boost my Fairy Godmother TF right now, and then I would ask for Cassandra to make things more interesting by adding some magic to the game. But anything that happens in the game will be dispelled tomorrow morning. No lasting stuff.”

“Ummm… what would that even look like, I mean? That seems a rather nonspecific suggestion, like just add magic is pretty broad.”

“Well, it would obviously have to change based on what we’re doing. I figured maybe Cassandra could allow you to set the rules, and they apply to everyone as long as we all agree to them.”

Mary was conflicted, I mean, that does sound fun. But also like it could get out of hand, really fast. “What does everyone think about that show of hands, who likes the idea?” Everyone except Hilde and Aubrey raised their hands. “Okay, Hilde, Aubrey, are either of you so opposed to the idea that you wouldn’t want to join, or are you just hesitant?”

“I just think it has quite a bit of potential for things to go wrong and there to be hurt feelings later.” Aubrey said.

“I’m not sure I would be up for it, especially since you lifted the sexual rule,” Hilde said meekly.

“Hilde, what if, assuming Cassandra can do this, mind you, I made one of the rules that everyone will be unable to do anything that would result in hurt feelings later? Not that we wouldn’t have hurt feelings, but like if you wouldn’t be comfortable kissing someone here, no one will do that.”

She considered for a minute, looked at her sister, receiving a smile in return, “I guess I would be on board then.”

“Okay, Chloe, we’ll do it. Let’s Give It a Boost!” She stuck her hand out towards Chloe in a pose like a magical girl, “Okay, that was a little weird. I actually felt like I had to say that I really hope that isn’t going to become a thing, but it probably will.” Mary sighed.

Fairy Godmother: Cassandra becomes Chloe’s Fairy Godmother. Once per round, Chloe can make one request to Cassandra, and she will do her best to fulfill it, though she can only bend the rules of the show, not break them. [Cinderella][Boon] Boosted 1/3: Chloe may now either make two additional requests or combine all three requests into one large request, which can’t break the rules but can come pretty darn close.

Chloe got out her phone and messaged Cassandra.

“Oh, sweet child, you rang. Thank you, it is such a treat. To. Be. Called.” She glared at Mary. “How can I help you?”

“I assume you were listening. Do I really have to explain it again?”

“I was, but you do actually have to make it a formal request with the exact wording for your boon, dear. I get your idea, and this isn’t some monkey’s paw situation. I will do my best to fulfill the intent of your request.”

“Okay, can you give Mary the ability to make magically binding rules for games so long as everyone playing consents?”

“I can, if that is what you want. But I’ll say two things first: Mary will have to consent to this as she is the Mistress, second, it will use all three of your favors, not that I think you care about that, since you would lose two of them in twenty-four hours when the boost expires. I also am feeling particularly generous about this one. I really like your new style, by the way.”

“Then, assuming Mary consents, that is my request?”

“Mary, are you okay with me fulfilling her request?”

“Mary, wait!” Talia exclaimed. Everyone turned to her. “I’m not saying that this is a problem per se, but I just realized something. Chloe didn’t ask for you to get the ability for that tonight; you would get it permanently, which is why Cassandra needs your consent. Because it’s technically a permanent transformation and you’re the Mistress.”

“That true, Cassandra?” Mary asked.

“Yes, it is, like I said, I am feeling particularly generous, and Chloe left wiggle room to be so. It isn’t like you have to put magical rules on games; you can, and only if everyone consents to the rules. So there isn’t any downside; it is just a boon. It’s why I didn’t bother telling you, I wanted it to be a surprise gift.”

“Okay, I consent.”

Magical-Girl Fun Times: Mary is becoming a proper magical girl; she can already give her ladies a boost. Let's give her something for some simple fun. Mary can now create binding magical rules on a game or contest, so long as everyone involved is told the rules and consents to them beforehand.

“Okay, that feels good. I guess I have magic now. Um, how powerful is this effect?” Mary questioned.

“Hmm, that’s hard to explain. Some things might seem like they are simpler than others, but they aren’t. Any specific questions?”

“Well, not that I’m going to, but can there be permanent or longer-term consequences. Like, I assume I can make some temporary transformations with the rules, but if I wanted, could I have some things last, or give the winner a reward or losers a penalty?”

“Nothing Permanent. At least not at your current power. Probably two weeks would be your limit for duration right now. And yes, you can put magical stakes, but it has to be clear what those stakes are, and again, a time limit. Also, you might run into not being able to change something because of the rules of the show.”

“Okay, thank you, Cassandra… I was wondering,” Mary was trying to be delicate here. I’m not suggesting anything by this, but would you like to join us?” I want to try to repair this relationship, but I kind of hope she turns me down.

“No, for two reasons. First, I think it would go better without me here as a bonding opportunity for those bound to you to bond. Second, I have decided I am going to open a mid-week poll and give out rewards to those whom the audience finds most entertaining tonight. And yes, that includes you, Freya, Hilde, and Mary, not just the contestants. I’ll find something for you if any of you place high in the poll. First place will be a particularly special reward catered to you specifically, too. So have fun and have a good night.”

“Well, that was a bit unusual,” Laura said, “I mean, Cassandra is fairly nice, but I thought she wasn’t happy with quite a few of us.”

“Maybe this is her olive branch?” Aubrey suggested, “Trying to mend fences. Like, yeah, we upset her and vice versa, we could keep being mad, or we could try to move past the issues. Anyway, Mary, what first?”

“Well, First blanket game rule for the evening, that supersedes all other game rules. You can’t suggest, dare, do, ask, insinuate, or anything else similar that is going to make another player overly uncomfortable or would cause them to have hurt feelings, or for you to regret doing that to them later, because of the game. That doesn’t mean you can’t do those things on your own, but that’s on you, not the game. If a game effect would cause you to do it when you normally wouldn’t, you won’t be able to either. So if you do something and regret it, that is because you did it; you can’t use the game as an excuse. Everyone agrees?”

A chorus of sures, and yes, echoed out. “Um, Hilde, I need your verbal consent, apparently. Everyone else’s I have.”

“Oh, yeah, sure.” Hilde replied.

“Okay, good. Second blanket rule: all effects from tonight will be gone after twenty-four hours from now or less if specified by a subsequent rule. Now I was thinking two truths and a lie first, a way to get to know people here. Though here are my modifications. If the majority of us guess the lie, it becomes the truth for the twenty-four-hour period. If the person tricks the majority of us, they can pick one of the people they tricked and share one of their truths with them. Everyone who guesses the lie gets a point, and the person gets a point for everyone they trick. The person with the most points wins. I want to give some sort of prize for first, but don’t know what it should be, so suggestions?”

“How about we can request how you use a TF boost?” suggested Freya.

“I’m okay with that as long as it still follows the previous rule that you can’t request it on someone else if they would be upset because of it. Does that work for everyone? We’ll do one full round, around the circle.”

“Wait, that won’t work.” Allie said. “You have to have a prize for winning, too, Mary. Otherwise, it isn’t fair. You’re putting up a prize that is already yours.”

“How about this then. I get to go into my closet and pick out outfits for let’s say the bottom three place holders, and they can’t wear anything else for the entire time duration, win or lose, and if I win, I get to keep the Boost to distribute myself. Does that work for everyone?” Mary got confirmation from everyone. “Okay, does anyone want to start us off, or should I go first and we go clockwise?”

“I’ll do it.” Aubrey said, “I suggested the party, so it’s only fair.”

Speaker: Aubrey

1. I am a twin.
2. I have a set of siblings who are quadruplets.
3. I have never had sex.

“Okay, first,” Laura began, “I request that we can have the person clarify ambiguous terms, like what do you mean by sex. Because some people don’t count blow jobs as sex, others do. I think it is only fair we know what you are actually claiming one way or another.”

Aubrey responded, “That’s fair, I mean vaginal intercourse, satisfied?” Laura just nodded.

“Well, I know the answer, but you aren’t getting it out of me,” Chloe said jokingly.

“Same, here.” Mary replied.

“Wait, really?” Aubrey asked.

“Yes, but I’m not going to sabotage your chance of tricking the others.”

“Well, I find it suspicious she has two answers about her siblings, so I think she is probably a virgin, and either one is an outright lie, or there are a set of twins or triplets or something instead.” Talia mused.

“Yeah, Aubrey seems like the kind of gal to want to find mister right, not mister right now. She wants kids, so she would probably wait. Then again… maybe she’s tried to baby trap a guy.” Hilde speculated

“I WOULD NEVER!” Aubrey exclaimed.

“Then, she’s a virgin.” Sam said, “Actually, I have a question, Freya, you aren’t essentially at an unfair advantage because you know everything about us, right?”

“Fair question, but no, I have some info on each of you, but not a lot. Mary, on the other hand, is screwed, because I know her intentions, so I will know what her lie is no matter what.”

“Hey!” Mary shouted, “Not cool.”

“Too bad, I don’t see anyone complaining that Talia got enhanced intellect a little bit ago and is going to wipe the floor with everyone here. I’m going to use my advantages where I can.”

“She does have a point.” Talia chuckled.

“Was that a laugh? Did Talia just laugh?” Allie was astonished. “It’s really nice, I’m glad Mary could help you, Talia.”

“Thanks, Allie, me too.”

“Okay, everyone, voting time,” Mary began, “Okay, addendum to the rules, you can’t lie about your vote. Everyone good with that?” Nods, “Perfect, alright, everyone think of what you want, and then in ten seconds, Aubrey, tell us the lie.”

“Okay, so the lie is that I have a set of siblings who are quadruplets, I have a pair of identical twin sisters and a Twin brother. Well, okay, Chloe obviously knew that, but how did you, Mary? I’m a little surprised that only four of you guessed that.”

“Oh, I knew because your twin brother hit on me a few times during college. Also, Cassandra mentioned them when threatening you.”

“He WHAT!”

“Yeah, shortly after my ex-girlfriend and I ended things, actually, I think you had also broken up with your boyfriend at the time, too.”

“That PRICK! He did it again. Let me guess, he came on real strong, you told him you were straight, and he offered to set you up with me, didn’t he?”

Mary squinted at Aubrey, “Yesss… How did you know that?”

“Freya, please set a reminder for me to punch my brother when the show ends. Chloe, could you help too? I don't want to forget.”

“Certainly miss.” Freya pulled out her phone to put it on Aubrey’s TODO list.

“I take it he has done that multiple times, then.” Mary inquired

“Just about anytime I’m single, and show interest in a guy. He has scared a bunch of people off because of it. Alright, next up, I don’t want to talk about this more.”

“Who are you sharing a truth with?” Ellen inquired.

“Oh, hmmm. Well, I don’t want to give anyone a twin for twenty-four hours, that would just be wrong.”

“Actually, if you chose that, it would permanently give them a twin,” Freya stated.

“Wait, what!” Everyone shouted in unison.

“Uh, so making a twin is easy, but the rules of the show very, very explicitly forbid killing people, so if you gave someone a twin, we couldn’t undo that. You also couldn’t give Hilde it because she is already a sextuplet, which would require getting rid of four of us, to make her a twin.”

“So yeah, definitely make someone a virgin then.” Aubrey stated, “Now who. Oh, that would be funny.”

“Hey, Aubrey? I’m no' sayin' ye hae tae or whatever but I wuidnae mind havin' a siblin'.” Merida piped up. “But I get if daein' that wuid flap ye oot.”

Everyone looked at Merida. Mary went ahead and questioned her, “Really? I mean, that’s a lot, and we don’t know how that would work out. It could be retroactive. It could essentially just be a brand new person from nowhere. It seems risky, I mean, I won’t stop you from asking, but think carefully. Also, I just realized, Freya, what would have happened if she had lied in a way that would have gotten rid of one of her siblings.”

Everyone looked on in horror. “She wouldn’t have been able to.” Relief washed over everyone.

“Aubrey, it’s up tae ye. I’ve aye wantit a siblin' growin' up but I get that is a scary proposition.” Merida said.

“Sorry, Merida, I don't think I can do that. Laura, I’m sharing with you the fact that I’ve never had vaginal sex.”

Laura felt the change come over her immediately, “Oh, you bitch.”

“What? If you're quick about it, you might be able to give Mary your virginity. I’m sure we virgins are going to get extra points when we finally give it up to her,” Aubrey teased her.

“Hey, Mary… Fancy fifteen minutes in heaven?”

“Not now, Laura.”

“That wasn’t a no. So I’ll ask again later. Next up?”

“Guess that’s me, for fairness, I’m going to go with my current history unless someone objects.” Talia said.

Multiple people objected, “Sorry, Talia, I think that you have to count both.” Mary said, “Even if you didn’t do them explicitly, you still remember doing them right? And you told people here things about yourself, so if it is different because of the change, that isn’t fair. I think any inconsistencies should be resolved to your disadvantage, meaning you can’t be like I have a younger sister, unless that is either a lie or truth both before and after the change.”

“I think that is a bit unfair, but I see I’m the only one. Fine.”

Speaker: Talia

1. I thought Mark was really cute the first time I met him.
2. I’ve always been rather horny.
3. I love to figure skate.

“Figure skating is the lie,” Flora said.

“Why do you say that?” Aubrey asked.

“Because she was obviously attracted to him when we all met him again, so I’m going to assume that's true, and she was clearly repressed when we met her; she was wound so tight she was going to blow a fuse. Plus of the things to lie about and make true, that is the least problematic. I think she is going for damage control, because so much is barred because stuff conflicts between her two histories.”

No one really had anything to add to Flora’s reasoning.

“Okay, so I guess vote?” Mary said after a moment of silence.

“Flora was right, I never went figure skating before, though it’s weird because I definitely love doing it now. Your turn, Laura.”

Speaker: Laura

1. I really want to go back to school and get an advanced degree.
2. I’ve never had a serious romantic relationship with someone before.
3. I’ve started to have romantic feelings towards some of you.

“Well, this just got spicy,” Allie said. “Let's see, I don’t think the second one is a lie, myself. You’ve projected that ‘I don’t, get attached’ vibe, so it’s one or three in my opinion, not sure which though.”

“I’m going with one personally,” Sam offered with no further explanation.

“Ditto” from Flora.

“Oh? Did something happen between you three?” Mary teased, knowing full well that something did.

“Can we please just vote?” Laura asked.

“Okay, everyone chose,” Mary said.

“I’m fine not going back to school, and frankly, I’m glad that I tricked most of you because Aubrey turnabout is fair play. I’m giving you the fact that I’ve not been in a serious romantic relationship before.” Years of dating experience vanished from Aubrey.

“Crap. Ummm… Chloe, can you take the lead tomorrow?”

“Sure, not a problem, sweetheart. Hilde, you’re up.”

Speaker: Hilde

1. I actually really like being small.
2. As much as I would like to believe we can, I don’t really think we can help Astrid.
3. I hope Mary figures out a way to take Freya as part of her Harem.

“HILDE!” Freya shouted at her sister. “I don’t know which of those are true, but in either case, we are having a very long talk later about appropriate things to tell others.”

Hilde looked a little embarrassed, but didn’t back down from her sister. “No, Freya. We won't. I'm tired of being talked at and not with. When you actually want to listen, maybe then we can talk.” There was a fierce tension in the room.

“Well… does anyone have ideas?” Ellen broke the silence. “Because I could see all of them being a lie or truth, for different reasons. Freya, your thoughts?”

Freya was mad with Hilde, but giving advice when asked was rather ingrained in her at this point. “Well, she’s never complained about being small, so I would guess that is true. I could understand the second being true even if I don’t like it. So I would guess number three. But I don’t want to know what she would do if people guessed three and it is a lie. Because I’ve seen what Hilde will do with hope, and I’m worried what she could do even with a day of it. So I’m going to ask people to throw this one, but I guess I understand if you won’t.”

“Well, either Freya is playing some mind game on us, or we just have to decide if we are going to throw or not. So let’s vote,” Chole offered, “Unless someone thinks there is more to offer?”

“Okay, the vote in?” Hilde asked, “Okay, I don’t hope that Mary takes Freya as part of her harem. I would be okay with it if it happens, though. So who picked it? Hands up. That’s one… three… five… six. Well, darn. I guess I want that now. Pretty badly, too. You know Freya. I think you did this on purpose, because I think most people would have gone with the other two, if you had been quiet.”

“I DID NOT!” Freya was getting seriously upset.

“Oh, yeah?” Hilde said snidely, “Well, prove it. It’s your turn. Make it your lie. If you can, that is. Honestly, that might be for the best; it would stop you from being so self-destructive about Astrid. We all love her and want her back, but I’ve never seen an elimination undone after the season is over. During a season rarely, but not after. You need to live your own life, Freya…” Hilde got rather sad, “It feels like we lost you, too, sometimes.” Silence hung in the air, and Hilde finally broke it, “I’m sorry, everyone, for bringing down the fun. I think I’m going to go.”

“Hilde, sit back down,” Freya said bitterly. “Even if you want to, you can’t leave anyway. Cassandra locked the door after the game started. And fine, I’m going to show you right now.”

Speaker: Freya

1. I want Mary to add me to her Harem if she can.
2. I like being a butler and helping people.
   
   At this moment, Freya realized something. What the hell? But… but… that can’t be right. No, that isn’t true, is it? Freya needed to come up with a lie and fast.
3. I’m straight.

Shit. Why did I say that Hilde knows that isn’t true? I bet Mary thinks that as well.

“Ummm, maybe we should stop…” Aubrey suggested

Thank you, Aubrey! Freya shouted in her mind.

“Aubrey, I wish we could…” Mary began. “But remember when I laid out the rules. I said we would do a full round around the circle. I can feel it. We’re doing the full round like it or not.”

CRAP! Freya was not happy. I don’t understand. I DON'T want that. Why would I want that? Sure, Mark is nice, sweet, caring, thoughtful, if a bit dense sometimes, and rather attractive and... I like Mary’s appearance... even more… crap.

Mary hesitated but went forward. “I’m going to ask what Freya did last time. Please don’t pick the Harem option. If it’s true, that might be embarrassing enough to admit. But if it isn't, I don't want her doing something tomorrow to actually get added when she doesn’t want to. Personally, I don’t think she is straight, but I’m not sure.” Not one person spoke up. “Okay, then, everyone, vote. Freya? We need your answer.”

“I—I’m bisexual… Mary, I don’t know why that wasn’t a lie, but please don’t. Please don’t add me unless it can help Astrid.”

“I would never do that willingly without your explicit permission, Freya. Ever.”

“Thank you, I guess, it’s your turn, Miss.” Freya seemed like she was about to cry. Hilde, despite her frustration with her sister, put an arm around her and patted her shoulder.

Mary wrapped Freya in a hug. “Just because we have to keep playing doesn’t mean we can’t take a short break. Use the bathroom if you need to. I’m going to order us all some hot cocoa with marshmallows and whipped cream. Also pizza.” They all moved around the room to stretch, use the restroom, and grab some pizza. Mary stayed with Freya, though. When everyone got back with pizza and cocoa in front of them, Mary checked in with Freya. “Are you okay to keep doing stuff, or should we make this as fast as possible and end the night?”

“Please don’t end the night, it was my fault for getting mad with my sister. And I guess I didn’t realize… Anyway, I’ll be fine, being straight for a day isn’t a big deal. Please go ahead, Mary.”

“Okay, let’s see… this is hard… ummm…”

Speaker: Mary

1. I really want to use the last five words for Talia on things I find hot.
2. I really like the dress I’m wearing.
3. I want to have an orgy right now.

Fuck, I did what Freya did. Open my big fat mouth without thinking well, at least wanting something doesn’t mean I’m going to pursue it.

“Okay, so it’s the orgy, right, guys?” Laura said.

“I must agree.” Freya added, “Though I’m not sure how wise it is to select that option. Then again, the fact she was able to say it at all is interesting.”

“I must agree.” Talia said, “Not that it’s the orgy, but the interesting part Freya said.”

“Why?” Sam asked.

“Well, the first rule.” Talia started to explain. “Eh, it's not really important, except for me. Just interesting. I do think it's the orgy option, though.”

“Yep.” Everyone agreed.

“Okay, well, guess the votes are cast… yeah, I wasn’t interested in having an orgy. I am now.”

“Perfect! Alright, ladies, speed round time.” Laura stated matter of factly.

“We are not having an orgy, no matter how much I may want one. Freya, that's an order. Gag anyone else who mentions it again. Lock it on if you have to.”

“You’re no fun.” Laura pouted. “So… what kind of hot things do you want to do to our precious Talia?”

“Merida, I believe it is your turn to go.” Mary said, pointedly ignoring the question, and mouthed sorry to Talia, receiving a smile back.

“I see what you mean, Mary… I don’t want to be boring, but it’s hard to come up with something that doesn’t mess with you by revealing something you don’t want revealed.”

Speaker: Merida

“I mean, it seems sort of obvious which is the lie.” Laura chimed in.

“Yeah, I have to agree with Laura here, as it might seem like weeks, but it was only a couple of days ago we got here, and all this info was stated during the intro and the intermission.” Ellen chimed in. “You explicitly stated that you thought your breasts were fine, so you wouldn’t mind being bisexual, which makes sense; that could just be the magic of the spring.”

“What no.” Laura said, “She’s clearly envious of your boobs. She’s been staring at them all night.”

“Duh,” Ellen retorted, “She is currently bisexual. Of course, she is staring at a large rack.”

“Well, I guess we’ll see which of you is wrong in a moment.” Mary chuckled. “Alright, votes in? Good.”

“Ma yoga studio is actually pure strugglin'. I barely mak' enough tae keep a ruif ower ma heid an' the lichts on.”

“I… I’m sorry to hear that.” Ellen sympathetically told Merida, “Would it make you feel better if I went up a cup size or just more envious… Sorry, clearly not helping.”

“Merida…” Mary growled in frustration. “It wouldn’t make me want to make you permanently bisexual, it would make me want to make me permanently bisexual. And I’m so sexually frustrated right now that I might give in and purchase that. Because I am young, horny, have a fuckton of hormones, and I have been distracting myself trying not to think about men at the moment, because I know how I will feel when I go back to being male. Which is grossed the fuck out. Now, if you want to be bisexual permanently, talk to me after the spring wears off, and I’ll do that for you. Got no problem there. Aubrey already found an option I can use to do that. So now, who were you going to share one of your truths with…” glaring at Merida.

“Ummm, awe richt, glad ye cleared that up. Dinnae think ye needit tae yell at me tho'. Could hae juist telt me. Sae I’m giein' ye breast envy. Aulso Ellen, aye it wuid cheer me up if ye went up a couple sizes tae mak' Mary mair envious.”

“Sure thing, lassie.” Ellen bumped up her breasts two more cup sizes up to an I-Cup

Merida let out a sigh of relief, until Freya spoke, “Well, glad you are sticking by your word, my lady. Now, as far as how big you should make Merida, I feel like it would only be fair for her to go to a G-cup at least, maybe all the way to match Ellen now at an I-Cup.”

“Sorry, Freya, I'll explain later.” As Sam pushed her down on the couch and grabbed Mary’s hand, tugging gently, to which she didn’t resist in the slightest, following Sam happily.

“Sam, what do you think you’re doing?” Laura exclaimed the loudest, but most of the others said something similar, and Laura started to move to go after the two.

Allie slammed the table hard and yelled, but with a controlled voice. “Stop, you need to let them go!”

“Explain and fast. Because Mary is clearly not able to think straight.” Laura demanded
