Who dares pull into this Haunted Mansion?
2 Real Estate Agents
The Unreal Agent of the Estate oohed and ahhed at the fancy car. It was bigger than any car he ever seen, but at the same time didn't have any of the typical prestige to it. It was more of a basic shape than the curvy protrusions and engine grills of way back when. It's sleek, smooth, 100% whiteness was like a... cue ball, fitted over the head of a giant. One with an underbite and pure black eyes surrounding its height. Truly, he had never seen a car like this before.
2 men stepped out of the driver's and passenger's doors... actually wait, was that one a man? That small one wore the same gaudy red jacket, black tie, and black pants as the large one, but... yeah, those were boobs. Above one of them was a (false-)gold nametag with "Dahlia Direwood". The muscular, tall one also had a tag with "Clyde Carpenter" over his pecs. His chest was bigger than hers, but their actual shape made their sexes clear.
Dahlia stared daggers into the lit-up window. The Granger's said no one lived in this house anymore. She shot a point to the window and said, "Clyde, look at the top floor. Someone's squatting."
Clyde thrusted his hips out and raised his head high, trying to find whatever was scaring Dahlia. After a couple of seconds, he said, "I don't see anything."
"The window. The lights are on up there."
"None of the windows are lighted, Dahlia. Maybe it's just sun glare?"
"No Clyde, it was clearly— Wh— Clyde were you looking at the top floor?!"
"Y—Yes? Don't get yourself into a tizzy Dolly—"
"Fuck off," Dahlia snapped her head like a turret, "HR told everyone to stop calling me that! And actually, being worried that we'll get in a fight with a hobo is a very reasonable thing to 'get in a tizzy' about!"
"Goddammit Dahlia, screaming isn't going to make things better. If there is someone here, agitating them will— wait."
"Wait what? Clyde if it's 'the sound of peace and quiet' again, I'll—"
"No no, did you say top floor or window?"
". . .What the hell is the difference."
"Well a floor is like a whole floor, but there's a window above—"
"Clyde. If there is a window somewhere, that means there's space. If there is space, then that's another floor!"
"No Dahlia, if you said 'floor', then I'm not going to be looking at the roof area."
"I will leave you here, I swear on Christ himself."
Clyde glared at her before walking to her spot, and matching his height with her.
"Look, between the high point. There's a—" she said, pointing to a window that was hit by white sunlight, but was otherwise unlit.
"Sun glare," Clyde said, readying to slap her on the shoulder before remembering the other HR complaint. He instead sighed and walked up to the door. "Care to lock me in?"
Dahlia scoffed before she fished through her pockets.
The Genie watched through a less distinct window, barely hiding in the middle of their argument. If he had skin, it would crawl. It was like the last days with the Hooligan's—Sorry, Granger's—before they abandoned him. If he was going to keep these 2 as residents, then he will have to make them come to peace... or cum to pieces, heheh.
The Genie lit up the front hall a little, just enough to where he could spy on the duo without them going on high alert. Another thing he needed to do—make them immune to natural gas poisoning, and tweak their minds to not freak out at his wish-granting abilities. Those were his 2 foundational wishes he made for any new arrival.
What is the first wish of the 21st century? Who wishes for it?
