18th birthday

Today was John's 18th birthday. His parents had died when he was young so he lived with his grandfather in France. Walking up he headed to the kitchen where his grandfather had just finished making breakfast of eggs toast and bacon.

"Morning Petit Fils and happy birthday," his grandfather said, placing a small box on the table.

John knew exactly what this was, he had been hearing stories about it since he could remember and had seen a few with ones threw out Paris a miraculous, this was the chameleon miraculous of normality, his family had had it for generations going all the way back to their roman ancestors.

Opening the box revealed a simple silver bracelet with a weird design on it. Placing it on his wrist from the spiral a rainbow collard chameleon slowly turns silver before pink then blue and settled on purple.

"hia John im so happy to finally meet you i've been watching you grow up and I can tell you're going to mix things up im norm," he smiled as Norm kept changing colours

"I am so excited to meet you and I can't wait I know all about the powers," John smiled

"oh, you do well. Let's hear it. What can we do together?

"Well I know even when I'm not transformed people will find my actions normal but when im transformed I can make everyone find something as just a normal fact of life and I get faster stronger and smarter and a whip right," he asked

"Yep yep and yep so let go All you need to do is say NORM SCALES SHIFT,"

John smiled and said as he was told and transformed for the first time.
