18th Birthday part 6

"Hey", I said.

"Hey", he said, "Sorry about that."

"No, it's not your fault. She shouldn't have don't that, but would you please forgive her? I think she just drank a little much and didn't mean anything by it."

"Yeah, you're probably right.", He took another puff from the cigarette and inhaled the smoke. Then he offered me one. I shook my head.

"How was it?", I asked.

"What?", Eric seemed confused.

"You in her- I'm sorry that's an inappropriate thing to ask."

"Yeah...", he said and puffed. I quickly snatched the cigarette out of his hands and puffed too before giving it back, so he could finish it. Eric wanted to head inside, but I stopped him.

"Eric, I... I'm sorry. It's just- I like you. A lot. Annnd if you'd maybe-", I was interrupted by him putting his hands on my cheeks. "Ava", he chuckled, "I've liked you like that since 8th grade. I just didn't want to risk our friendship. Is it ok if I-"

"Just kiss me!", I said and pulled him closer. I felt his hands on my cheeks and they gave me security. They then trailed off to my neck as he pulled me even closer. I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. I hugged my arms around him and pulled his waist against mine... Well, against my stomach. He was still way taller than me. But I could feel his groin pulsating against my bare skin though his jeans. I carefully and slowly slid my right hand down his side towards his thigh and towards his crotch. I stopped the kiss and looked into his eyes before continuing. He nodded slightly and I gently caressed his bulge.

I was just about to pull down his pants a little, I already had my fingertips in his waistband, when Leni called for us. I quickly put my hands out of his pants and down. She saw how Eric held me, smiled and put her head a little sideways.

I don't think Eric noticed her, however, as he asked me why I stopped. Leni's knocking on the garden door was his answer.

"Hi guysss.", she had a broad smile on her face, "Ough, the air out here is getting hot."

"Yeah. I guess.", I was red as a lobster, but I think the dim light that was shining out thorough the kitchen window was hiding it pretty well.

"I just wanted to check on you two.", she never stopped smiling, "So you guysss. Are you together now?"

"Eric looked at me.", I was a little unsure, but he just said. "Yeah, I guess."

I feel like it was more of a question directed at me than an answer to Leni's question.

"Ooh, I'm so happy for you.", her smile got even wider. "You wanna come back inside, or should I leave you alone for a while?"

"I think it's time we get back.", Eric said and took my hand as Leni led us back through the kitchen into the living room.
