Day 2: Morning encounter
18. A cluster of mushrooms
As Lygia walks, something catches the corner of her eye. A troop of mushrooms, all black with a single pink spot! Lygia paid good attention to the lessons about the flora of the woods and she knows exactly what these are! Morning-after Mushrooms. Lygia picks them happily, knowing that as long as she has her pack, she’ll have the solution to any unwanted pregnancies. Even if one of the dangers of the woods breeds her, she'll still have the ability to return home.
Lygia is able to pick five mushrooms from the cluster. As she does she utters a prayer to the Earth Mother, one of the Gods of her people, for giving her the equipment and tools she needs to make her way home.
As the sun rises higher, Lygia continues her journey.
