16. Supplies

This time Malene is paying better attention to her surroundings and doesn’t stumble when she encounters the body of a dead adventurer. The first thing she sees is the body, she almost looks like she’s sleeping. The second thing she notices is that the adventurer’s equipment is still there. She says a quick prayer to her gods to let the soul of the woman rest in peace before divesting the body of everything it once carried.

As Malene equips herself, she realizes it’ll be time to bed down for the night soon. Looking around, she tries to determine if there’s a safe place to hide herself away.
