16. She butchers it expertly

Using her dagger, Lygia slices down the creature’s body, getting enough meat to satisfy herself easily. She prepares a small fire, hoping that no one and nothing will notice the smoke as she cooks the meat. She eagerly fills her belly and kicks the fire out.

She looks up at the sky, she could try to pick a direction and walk, but who knows how far away that would take her. Better to see if she can forage anything around her that will help her on her journey. She especially wants to see if she can find anything to fix her injured hand.
