14. A Natural Anomaly

As Malene walks, a sound begins to grow in the distance. She’s cautious, but as she grows closer and the temperature begins to drop she realizes what’s in front of her: a river. She rushes to the sound. There’s a river that runs through the Glade and if she guesses right this one might just be it.

The rushing, clear water is a welcome sight. The river looks navigable, but the current also looks strong. If she wants to cross she’ll have to fight it.
