13. She’s now 4 nights of travel away

When Malene stops running, the sun is beginning to set in the west. Once she can see the stars again, she tries to figure out how far away she is from her destination. She nearly cries out in frustration that she now, once again, has four days ahead of her. She’s also exhausted and hungry.

First things first, she has to attend to her bodily needs.
