10. She nods and leaves

“Alright. For a first offense I’m fine with that.” Officer Duric nods and leaves your office. You’re now alone with Meli.

“So, your allowance ran out? But why shoplift?”

She pauses before she starts crying, “I just wanted the latest look like the other girls!”

“It’s nearly the end of the month, surely you’ll get a refresh then?”

“But homecoming is before then!” She sobbed.

“I see.”

“Please, you can’t tell my parents, I’ll get in so much trouble and I won’t get to go at all.”

You regard her for a moment. You guess that a trophy wife in training like her is no stranger to using her body to get out of trouble. And, if rumors are to be believed, no stranger to using her body for grades. And you’re pretty sure she’d do anything to stay out of trouble right now.

“Alright, maybe we can help each other.” You sigh and she looks up at you with tear stained eyes. You stand and walk around the desk. “How about you get on your knees and show me how sorry you are for what you’ve done.”
