Leaving you plenty of free time to organize your headquarters the way you liked it. Your 2D war table in the center of the room and a few of your soldiers were the various pieces of equipment required for effective leadership in the battle space. Their primary purpose was to sync up their communication with your patrols so that they could make annotations on the main map of enemy positions as well as significant terrain features. You watched as one of them walked over to the main table and made a mark where one of the initial survey patrols pinged as a good site for an ambush.

With nothing else to do you went out and surveyed the town's defenses, they seemed to be in good shape.
