“What are some hobbies you have?”

“Other than cheerleading, what are some of your favourite pass times?” You ask.

“Oh that’s good. Ok, this is gonna weird you out but I am very much into gardening.”

“What? Really?”

“Yes! On a Saturday after practice there’s nothing I enjoy more than getting in the garden and tending to our plants.”

“Wow that’s incredible”

“Really? You think so?’

“Yeah! You actually do productive stuff. I just tend to watch some Star Wars sho-”

As soon as you said “Star Wars” her eyes lit up and she cut you off “You like Star Wars?!””

“Of course. Me and my sister were practically raised on it”

“Oh my god, I love Star Wars! My dad took had me watch it when I was nine years and I fell in love with it.”

The next hour or so was spent geeking out over Star Wars, you also had to order so you just went with the cheese burger and Julia went some chicken wings and getting the boring stuff out the way like birthdays.

When it was time for the date to end Julia took you by the hand and told you ‘We don’t have to end it here. My dad has a room booked for us at one of the hotels. It’s actually not to far from here.
