You barely get your words out before she has her arms around you

“Thank you so much, where’d you find her?”

“The basketballers you were chatting with earlier were about to gangbang the life out of-”

“That’s not true, they were nice guys who were going to show me their tropical fish and she came and took me away, why’d you tell her to do that Chels?”

Stacey chimes in as she leans on Chelsea for support, the night getting a little late for her despite it only being 11:00pm

“Just cause it was time to go Stace, you are looking really tired.”

“Aww I was having fun,” She seems to have lost all her energy in the last 5 minutes and now looks like she could fall asleep any second.

“I know I’ve already asked a lot but can you help me get her back to the campus cause I don’t think I can carry her if she passes out.”

You give her a look that suggests you aren’t exactly pleased with her, but you will do it. “Walking still isn’t a great experience for you at the moment so she better know how much you are giving up for her tonight.”

You end up virtually carrying Stacey as an awkward silence hangs over you and Chelsea for the remainder of the walk. It isn’t until you are leaving Stacey’s room and walking down your floor until she turns to you and says.

“Hey, I’m really sorry about tonight, I know you and that girl were about to…” her voice pauses for a second “…look for somewhere more private and you probably could have told me to fuck off but you didn’t, and I’m really thankful for that. I’ll find a way to make it up to you I promise.”

She gives you a sort of half smile as she says goodnight and turns to her room.

You watch her go, “it’s a good thing she’s damn cute otherwise there’d be no way you’d let her get away with this, but she will be making this up to you, you will make sure of that.”
