[SIDE STORY] Growing up as a Succubus – The history of Layklé

In an alternate dimension wages a war between two powerful groups: On the one hand the sensual succubi, who have gained the ability to seduce anybody they meet, to make up for their weaker physical attributes. The only way for them to gain power is to feast on their victims during sex, where the victim loses his. On the other hand are the Incubi, powerful warriors who even though they are of the same race as the succubi, are weak to their seduction. At least they were, until the Incubi, through a roundabout way, gained an immunity to the power of the Succubi. With the Succubi’s main ability to control the males gone, the Incubi began slaughtering their female counterparts, not needing them to have children. More so even. The Incubi quickly learned of a power they held, that was yet unknown to them. Whenever they bred with a race that wasn’t the succubi, their children became what was known as Zouhl. Whereas the look of Zouhls were equal to the mothers race, they all shared one ability. Whenever they had sex with a partner, they were taking in energy from them. Unlike a succubus though, that energy was being given to the Zouhls creator, the Incubus, instead. Being able to grow in strength at an alarming rate like this, the Incubi quickly took over the land, enslaving those who opposed them, or breeding them to gain even more strength.

Today, both sides fight for a cause: The Incubi to finally rid their world of the plague of seduction it once was under.

The Succubi fight to remove the Incubi resistance to their sensuality, as well as the freedom for the folk… As free as they could have been, as willing toys for the succubi to seduce.

Layke was born to a succubus who had indentured herself to an Incubus lord. Because of her mother’s, Akani's, strength and wisdom, Akani was often used as a warrior **** for the Incubus. Akani was a very skilled general for her master, even though her every step was being watched and second guessed. She was able to lead his armies to many victories using her tactical mind. It was thanks to Akani’s skills that Hathwron went from being a mid level vassal of another Incubus, to a high level lord of a vast swath of land himself.

Akani did this because she had a plan: to gather enough power to eventually slay Hathwron and flee to the Succubi Resistance. Unfortunately for her, Hathwron was no idiot. He made sure to routinely drain Akani of her power, by spending days using various toys on her. He would also make sure to drain her until she was just barely stronger than his strongest warrior. This would ensure she could defeat any challengers to her but would still be far too weak to challenge him.

Akani soon realized her plan of gaining enough power to overthrow Hathwron was futile. She would need allies, so she began formulating a new plan. Akani knew that if she made a small squad of warriors she could overpower Hathwron and defeat him. She began sneaking out at night to visit the villages of Hathwron’s territory. She began recruiting a few human girls (Hathwron’s favorite play things and concubines) to gain what Succubi desperately needed: Incubi cum.

Over the coming weeks Akani’s new plan slowly went into motion. First, she had her picked girls join Hathwron’s harem. Next, she would make sure they got him nice and drunk, too drunk to remember what would happen next. The girls would service Hathwron for as long as he was able, using every hole they had. But right before he would climax, they would capture the cum in a container and smuggle it to Akani. The first thing Akani did was make sure to use some of the cum to impregnate herself. With this, the first part of her plan would be complete.

The second phase of the plan began the following day. Akani had the cum quickly taken to the resistance as an offering for assistance. The resistance obliged with this new progeny juice by sending 3 of their best warriors: a human male completely enraptured by the Succubi’s skills, willing to do anything for the best reward a succubus could offer, a female Felari mage, and a Sucubus warrior. This was the first time Akani saw a Felari, intelligent, bipedal cousins of the felines many races kept as pets. The males tend to be more proficient as agile, quick strike warriors while the females tend to be masters of spellcrafting. They were able to talk to each other telepathically and could read the emotions of all known races if they were close to them.

With her allies here, Akani could proceed to the third phase of her plan. She and her allies within Hathwron’s keep snuck the strike team into the castle. Once there, the Felari, Cathrina, used her skills to camouflage the group from the sentries in the castle. The harem girls did as they were instructed earlier in the day: they did get Hathwron excessively drunk and sexually exhausted. He would prove to be a quick kill.

With his ****, Akani and all of Hathwron’s slaves were free. Not only that, but the infighting caused between Hathwron’s vassals would make this area of Incubi territory very unstable. Unstable enough for the Succubi Resistance to set up a base of operations in the area and begin pushing towards the Citadel, the heart of the Incubi Empire. Within it, the most powerful of Incubi ruled the lands, keeping a dark secret in the very bowels of the tower.

With Akani’s newfound freedom, she pledged her loyalty to the Resistance and began taking what warriors they had and begun a campaign of guerilla warfare. This would continue for the next 5 months, until her pregnancy started to make it improbable for her to effectively lead the charge. Instead, Akani became the chief strategist of the Resistance, giving out orders and helping the resistance secretly taking control of parts of Incubi Lord’s territories.

For the next 10 months Akani was content staying the chief strategist, having the others fight while she incubated her child, whom she hoped to be a succubus so she could train her to be an even greater warrior than her. She planned to wait the full 30 months to ensure her child would be the strongest. Sadly, fate had other plans. Soon after the 15th month, reports began coming in of a new Incubus leader who was finding and wiping out entire cells of the Succubus Resistance. For the next two months Akani tried to beat the man in her current position but soon realized she could not stand up to him from there, she would have to engage the Incubus on the battlefield. So, after 17 months, Akani gave birth to her daughter, Layklé. Layklé was the embodiment of her hopes, that she and her daughter could, together, free the Succubi from the Incubi and restore the natural order. But first, Akani had to deal with the new general.

Akani was once again on the battlefield. With her return, the Resistance was able to begin a true counterattack. She was able to help break off attacks on the current cells and even restore some of the lost cells, forcing the Incubus general to the frontlines.

Rathkhal was trained since birth in the art of war. He had one objective: destroy the Succubi Resistance at any cost. And that is what he did. Once his skills were refined enough, he secretly began ravishing the countryside of his father’s kingdom, siring as many children as he could to ensure he could gain as much power as possible. It was with this power that allowed Rathkhal to rally the army to his cause and to push once again for the extermination of the Succubi.

Akani and Rathkhal clashed on the battlefield for many years, with both sides being unable to truly defeat the other. Most of the battles ended in succesfull retreats with both sides too exhausted to continue battling. It wasn’t until Akani thought of a bold plan to be able to end the threat of Rathkhal once and for all. She would gather a small ****, the same size of the last battle, and charge at Rathkhal. While this was happening, the reinforcements Akani asked for from the other cells would group up and attack the flanks of Rathkhal’s forces while he would be focused on destroying her. When the attacks on the flank happened, Rathkhal’s forces were confused, having invested solely on destroying what they thought was what left of the Resistance in this area. But the three flank attacking groups were led by Ronan, Cathrina, and Shalria. With those three, Akani attacked Rathkhal. As strong as he was, he could not simultaneously fight off the four warriors. With the three attacking in melee range if he focused on them he would be attacked by Cathrina and her magic, but if he focused on going after her, it would allow the three warriors to attack his sides and back him into a corner. But still, Rathkhal would fight and he would take as many of them with him as he could. After six grueling hours of fighting, they were finally about to defeat Rathkhal, but not before Ronan and Shalria fell. To avenge the Succubus that fell in battle, Akani had Cathrina magically restrain Rathkhal while Akani did what her species did best. With the combination of her and his power, this new child would make Akani and Layklé powerful enough to truly end this war.

So for the next 10 months Akani would carry her second child. It was only after she heard rumors of a group of mysterious warriors searching for her and destroying anyone or anything that got in their way that Akani knew she could no longer carry the child. So she gave birth to Orinthe. Akani then left Layklé in charge of taking care of her sister and training her like she had trained Layklé. Layklé told her mother she would do her best. That was the last time Layklé saw her mother.

Layklé would then spend the next 10 years taking care of her little sister. Sadly, without her mother’s keen abilities, the Resistance started to lose ground again, causing Layklé and her sister to flee the area they were living. They fled to the far reaches of the Incubi Empire. While this area was not especially dangerous, Layklé was slow to gather power. She believed in the long game, of slowly gaining power over a long period of time instead of trying to get quick bursts and moving on before she was noticed. At least that’s what she told herself, but truly she was scared if she got too powerful she would end up dead like her mother. Yet she did gain enough power to protect herself and her sister in the area they lived.

Layklé had actually gained her mother’s keen mind, being able to analyze situations and find the best way out of it for her and her sister. This allowed her to stay in places that were safe for them and realize when the winds would change on them and leave before trouble happened. This eventually led them to a border town with the Felari Confederacy. That’s where the two sisters found a nice job in a brothel under the protection of the Felari Confederacy. The Incubi Empire had not yet fully engaged in war with them, since the Incubi lacked any true defense against the devastating mage abilities of the Felari. There was one catch: the two could not kill any customers but were allowed to feed on as much of the sex fluids as they could. Under the protection of the Felari Confederacy, Layklé had finally found a way to slowly gain the power she and her sister needed to finally be of use to the Succubi Resistance and avenge her mother’s ****!

Yet fate rarely is kind to those who deserve kindness, so her peace only lasted shortly. Not more than mere months after Layklé had hoped to have found peace was it stripped of her once more, as the Felari Confederacy signed a contract that would seal her doom. An agreement between the Incubi and the Felari, stating peace between the races. Neither would attack or be attacked by the other. The Felari demanded all of their captured folk to be returned to them, which the Incubi happily obliged to. The Incubi on the other hand demanded the Felari to hand over every succubus in their realm. Any who would be spotted shall be imprisoned and either be executed or to be brought to the nearest Incubus to do so himself.

Layklés time of peace was once more over, so she ran away. Wanted dead just because she was born. Unable to fight, because she was weak. Unloved, because her mother was missing. The still rather young succubus learned that power was what made the world go round. Those who have it, use it. Those who don’t, get used. And she was weak, even for her folk. So as a portal opened in front of her, with strange energies calling upon her realm, she took her chance and stepped through it, hoping that she could become strong enough to one day, save her family.
